  1. So I just played Dayz for the fourth time, it was about an hour session. I started in Cherno, knew instantly (from past experiences) that it is a death trap. But I thought: you know what? I'll try my luck. I sneak my way into the chapel, and find an M1911. "Yes!" was my gleeful cry as I grabbed it greedily from the ground, salivating. Next, I found a can of coke, some beans, and a compass. I was feeling really good about it, so I decided to move toward the hospital. I make it there (besides being startled by the occasional distant gunfire) completely safely, and grab as much loot as I can. As soon as I step outside, I hear the low, churning sounds of helicopter blades slicing the air, and immediately drop. I look around, and see it flying in fast to my right, near the military tents. I get up and start moving there, when I see it going to land, rather recklessly I might add. It drops out of sight behind a building, a couple of seconds before the explosion. It isn't long until smoke starts billowing well above the outline of the buildings, and I start moving in as fast as I can to see what I can pick up. On the way, I come across the military tents, and see someone shuffling around inside. I can see through the flap that she has an AK. I run in as fast as I can and start filling her with holes, a full clip to be exact. She goes down, and I check her pack, but I can't seem to pick up her weapon. I also remark that I didn't see a message pop up that "player X has been killed". I leave her for a second, and when I turn back, I see her starting to come to. I unload another clip, each bullet hitting her. She stands up and points the AK at me. I unload my third and final clip into her face, and she doesn't even blink. She merely shoots me a couple times with the AK, and I die instantly. It was the most fun session out of all the ones I had played, but also the most frustrating. Why didn't she die? Was she hacking, was it lag, or were those "exaggerations" about weak pistols not actually exaggerations at all? And how many pieces did the helicopter pilot's keyboard break into when he smashed it in frustration!?
