Security update also means " "removing Admin feature for admins to see Server Logs and BEC logs and let cheaters easily walk around?. " Can we have information regards of removal of the Server Logs and Bec Logs ? I hope you will be able to provide the information.

Why on earth you were camping at coast close by spawn point unless you are most probably a spawn camper and trying to kill fresh spawns. I've played DayZ SA over 700 hours and not even single bambi or fresh spawn could have managed to kill me or my friends whom got gear. You just want death timer , just because you want to kill fresh spawns and avoid them overrun at your spot again. So you can easily camp. There is no way you can easily recover your gear if you play legit way and not a lame way camping at coast. We had firefights against fully geared teams and for us and them were always hard to recover the gear of fallen due to ongoing fight till wipe eachother. Only fresh spawn campers or bambi campers travels or camp at coast where people spawn.

Mod Community of BIS is great indeed , but Valve has larger and better ones. TWI is also good. Both of them actually are better than BIS. So go ahead and eat your words , because these are the facts. There are 200+ People are working for Star Citizen and it has been designed from scratch. It's not ported from an existed mod and game. Expenses and features of that game is huge , it's pointless comparing Star Citizen with a MOD that tries to become a Standalone Game. -

Even makers of the ARMA's engine and the game, could not sort out the bugs it has for 13 years. I don't think the final game will be much different than the mod itself and its varients. (Will be slighlty better overall) but won't fill our expectations. It took 13 years to bring a new feature for BIS called Zeus for ARMA. Other than, everything almost same rather than gfx,AI,physics updates and new maps. (Which must not be too proud of because we are at 2014) So, just loose the hype,suck it up and try to enjoy. What Dean trying " is fixing all problems and flaws that ARMA engine has for years (Especially ARMA 2) and trying to improve some bits and bobs, but it's utopia. Will take years and never gonna work out prefectly. Wonder why he didn't pick the Real Virtuality 4 and work on it instead of taking RV3. Prolly he thought about low-end pc users, then again optimization is not even good at all for High-end pc users. I say "put the vehicles/tents/wildlife and drop more clothes in now" leave the rest and forget about the project. We did want Standalone of the MOD to not use the downloaders all the time.And we have the Standalone now anyway :) -

I don't want to see Player killed player spamming on my screen all the time whenever someone kills someone. Also what is the point of "check pulse" option if you see that msg and able to know if the person "Death" or "Unconscious" from miles away. There are reasons Why "Player Kills" not showing up. This ain't BF or COD at the end of the day, you should not know Who killed you or Who you killed unless you check their body via pulse or by interacting them. From Server Admin point of view, there are already server logs that you can see "who killed who" if you check Server logs , you can also see player names and GUIDS with IPs. Only missing feature for admins atm is "detailed server logs " (Loot creation/Player's Loot Action and Scripts) If they have some sort of different invalid ones. Also as far as i can see, not any one here complaining about "Server Rules" but they are complaining about lack of admin features and detailed logs. Eventhough you can never stop cheaters, you have to trust BE's ban waves and hopefully VAC will be implemented as well along with BE on release or on Beta. For now just bear with BE and report any obvious cheater activity on Clan Forums. (If you give your in-game name to an admin, he can see who killed you, only if you're sure that was obvious cheater). DayZ is a different kind a game and imo should have its own servers and servers should not be rentable and server files should be kept locked. It should follow the way of MMO's. But don't think BIS has enough manpower and system in place to do that . So there starts the problem for Admins and Players. Servers are not cheap, clans have members/donators wants reserved slot as they donate, but all of these can't work with DayZ as the rules and the game itself.

Tell me one multiplayer game that has no cheaters in it, I'll quit gaming. Finished games like Battlefield 4 even still has loads of exploits and glitches with tons of cheaters. Report them "Bug Tracker" or "Reddit" , or " even " Bug Reports" section not on General Chat. In meantime Stick on servers that have proper admins. Community needs to work with Clans that hosts DayZ SA servers as well, then we can all work together and get their guids and ban them for good. I always direct players to our forums as well if they see cheater activity so i can check server logs and figure out if something dodgy . Prolly all other proper clans do the same.

The maintenance session has now been initiated and all servers have been disabled. Fragnet servers. Multiplay the same and mostly others as well. Just wait 2-3 hours. (Mostly it takes 3-4 hours) Started at 07.00 so should be all up around 11.00 (GMT). Usual Wednesday Stress :)

Nice to see loots are re-spawning now , which was really boring to see empty towns after 20 minutes servers restarts. Thanks bunch for the server side fix as i can confirm as well it works now! Good days ahead! "We gone for testing a bit (One of us looted Police Station and then moved away from the town) , after a while another member went in and saw the loot again in police station. So deffo loots are re-spawning. Not sure it will be a temp/Testing though, but for sure they are working on it now as it seems.

Well good luck with that as you have to ban 80% of players then :) Have you killed anyone in game and did you listen them after that? They never say "thank you ". Unless it's something racist, game is rated for mature. "Fair due". -

Was in NWAF Firestation and a server hopper spawned right front of me , shot him and told him " Next time stick on same server and don't be a loot hopper you fa...ot." via comms. -

For the game and KOS rampage: After Zombies will be increased in numbers in each town and their path-finding gets improvement, there will be huge difference in KOS numbers as you'll need a friend to loot or survive. Also after they implement vehicles and base building /tents and such , you'll be looking for groups to gather vehicle parts faster or to increase your own security at your base. All of these will promote "team-play" and reduce KOS.

Problem is not only if they will be rare or not as scripters can dup it easily or create if it's in database. Then you'll have a problem on your hands. Current snipers and scopes are fair and actually require a little bit of skill to use. AS50 or Thermal Sights are just makes things way to easy as you can see anyone from miles away doesn't matter if there are trees/bushes. Whoever lucky enough or whoever use scripts will gain huge advantage over majority. (We would ban Thermal Scopes on our servers same for AS50 if that happens anyway)

It would be great really, drag/carry like in ARMA. It's hard to help friends without getting targeted atm due to not able to drag/carry. Beans given.

I think Dean needs to combine the 1PP hive with 3PP hive and change all servers to Regular , so these crying muppets can have a legit reason to cry. So this thread and replies at least can make some sense.

I like Left4Dead series and also like Resident Evil Series. Problem is not 3PP , problem is broken/exploit angle yet people arguing over overall content. Both game has its own skill lvls and one not easier than the other. 3PP on DAYZ SA made for ARMA and not for Dayz SA hence it should be re-adjusted and narrowed. That is the only issue. Coming here and almost trying to describe Overall "3PP" as an exploit is not valid statement. "Reminder" Hello, this is alpha , Hello" things need to be re-adjusted and will be". Where are these guys shown themselves in every post after some sort of valid criticism??? This ain't even a valid criticism at all...Irony!

Yea here is why the word comes "Adaptation" . Hence why we get trainings for multiple environment as soldiers along with adaptation to new tech.

Yea thats the problem with the game itself and not the overall 3PP content. Game is in alpha , even in first person you can see through walls and ceiling. (Wonder why noone mentioned it)

@DagWood The thing is, choosing 3RD person servers have multiple reasons and noone can actually accurately claim that it has one reason ,just because it has huge field of view/exploit angle. There are tons of customization for this game,from detailed hats to shoes. This game also has RP player base and 3PP player base along with it, which shouldn't be ignored. Those people want to see their character while gaming and want to see the animation of a character all together which gives some sort of enjoyment for 3PP player base. It's like choosing Action RPG over First person RPG. Prime example Old Elder Scroll series vs New Skyrim or Others. You just can't limit the playerbase by assuming " They play it because it's easy or has exploits". It has exploits which needs a fix and in alpha prolly takes time. Hopefully they do fix it because it effects 3PP Gamers negatively than any other. If they won't fix it or re-adjust it ,then shame on them because it's broken as its current state. Also, i don't think it makes it easier playing on 3PP servers as it makes you get spotted pretty quick, vice versa. So in a server that provides same angles, there isn't any decrease in diffuculty vs other players. It's only easier vs zombies, i must admit.

I don't need to claim or prove you that i am not exploiter as it just your narrow- minded opinion on majority. I'm well known person in gaming community by runing tactical realism genres. Also, i've already said many times, this topic and replies are mostly complains and comparison between 3PP and 1PP without any need as both has their own hives and servers. If we gonna discuss the current 3PP and its flaws for 3PP Gamers, we should do it without comparing it with 1PP and do it without insults or assumptions that disrespects others. 3PP should be re-adjusted "YES" , 3PP should be removed "NO".

I've already mentioned about its flaws in my earlier reply. (if you would scroll up). If you were a 3RD person Gamer , i could understand your frustrations with current "glitchy 3RD person view" on 3PP servers. But you are 1st Person Gamer as it shows in your replies. So why complaining as you have your 1PP Only HC servers? Which makes the complaining almost pointless.

That is so narrow-minded point of view as you're assuming that all 3RD Person Gamers as exploiters. There are huge amount of player base all around the world that likes 3RD person view. Hence the Gaming Market keep producing 3RD Person /in with Tactical Shooters all around. Ignorance of yours.
