I do not want a private hive nor do I want a server without bandits this is purely so we can play on servers the way dayz was meant to be played, without hackers nothing else I would love to hear from the dayz staff about this request

So am I. So i was wondering.. what are the repercussions of locking ones server? If I wanted to lock my server and then make a thread where people apply to get the password. Those who get the password would be able to join the server under their forum name. Keep in mind this is not to keep young people out or to give clans the priority in terms of player slots or anything of the sort.. this is mainly to deter hackers. As server admins we have no power what so ever in order to "prevent" hackers, notice I used the words prevent, the hole focus here is not to take care of them after they nuked the server and after everyone is pissed cause they lost all their hard work to an asshole that decided to push 1 button. I understand we can bann hackers once we find their name but do you have any idea how time consuming it has gotten to go through all those logs and find hacker after hacker especially after hacking has become so mainstream i mean we are banning people on a daily basis and its just getting ridiculous. We work really hard to make sure that the people that play dayz on our server have fun and at the moment its at the cost of our fun since we barely get to play the game anymore, we just look at logs all day and its getting to the point where I am losing interest and im starting to hate the game. Please i would love one of the devs to respond to this message, there are over 4000 servers now i understand that if all those servers decided to get locked with a password that that would be a problem but there are more than enough servers to at least allow us to lock a few and see how it goes. I would love to be granted the ability to say ok im going to lock my server anyone who wants to be a part of it go to this thread fill out this application and you will recieve your password. I just want to keep the hackers out and I know that BE BI and the dayz team are working hard to fix this issue, but whatever it is that you are doing it isnt working at least up till now. according to BE 11,000 people have been banned, given what i have seen and my experience with the game i would say that out of the 1million people that play the game at least 170,000 -200,000 are hackers so yeah that looks somewhat promising but why not let us, the server admins have a little bit more power and let us have whitelist servers where not just any asshole can click a button join and click another button and kill everyone. Let us help you eradicate the hacker cancer that is killing DayZ

oh and to confirm the admin of the server is medic who is the leader of AFG and AFG is the clan that has givven me lots of stuff including vehicles.. so im really confused.

yeah the server admins have nothing to do with 72nd clan that i know of so im sure now that this is either a missunderstanding or you were hacking.. but y instead of just freaking out on the forums dont u attempt to talk to the ppl in vent and ask around?

I play on this server and you may get in vent at any time, in fact i encourage you or anyone else who has doubts about this server to do so and talk to the admins they are really nice and they hand out vehicles to people, so far i have seen them restart the server to implement banns and to improove load times.. normally when the server is restarted they will send a global message stating why server is restarting.. Like i said im pretty sure this is a case of either you hacking or a missunderstanding seing as how these guys have allways been good to me and gave me vehicles.. just my 2 cents. just for reference.. whats the guys name that u killed on the bike?
