ill check all these. i know the other ppl couldnt hear me i asked in direct chat. they killed me first, then i spawned right next to them and they didnt kill me that time, and i asked if they could hear me and they said no. ill start checking all of these settings. thanks dudes.

try a diff browser. windows 7 and firefox tends to have issues with flash, so try using chrome. i use firefox for anything that doesnt use flash, and chrome for things that do use it.

this game seriously needs a suicide option. ive had several cases where i ran halfway to some remote place and then changed my mind, and would have rather killed myself to spawn on the shore than actually run back.

whats wrong with green mountain? i was there a couple weeks ago and nothing was going on. it was actually really boring. killed a couple zombies, checked around for loot and left.

i was molested by a hacker and maybe thats why i had such bad luck. it said i was teamkilled but i didnt die. i was teleported to the beach and all of my gear was removed. after that everything was kind glitchier than usual. i even started bleeding from a zombie attack and the blood icon on the HUD didnt get the flashing + sign on it. i had the debug meter on and thats how i noticed. i started loling when i thought about the patch notes. it was removed because "it wasnt reliable" or whatever it says. shit saved me from losing half my blood. ill try the logout trick AND putting it on the ground.

since almost everyone shoots on sight i do the same. i dont have a mic so its inconvenient to try to find out if people are friendly, and even then they might say they are then turn around and shoot you in the back.

i lost my pack all 3 times i changed skins last night.

i kill people for fun. its the only thing in the game thats even remotely challenging. running around for hours trying to find gear loses its appeal after a while. now i just try to grab whatever rifle i can find, then see how many people i can kill with it before i die.

ive only had 2 instances where i wasnt shot on sight, and ironically both times it was a hacker. one of them i got the drop on, shot him in the head with an entire makarov mag, and he just turned and asked me nicely to stop because im attracting zombies. everyone else shoots on sight regardless of skin.

sometimes the game gets boring while sneaking around or waiting for something. side chat wouldnt be all that bad as an extra thing to stay entertained between towns and whatnot.

i logged out last sunday in an apt in elektro or cherno, i forget which and it doesnt really matter anyways. i was in a room on the 2nd floor. i just now logged in and im in a random field somewhere, and i have a whole diff set of gear. i have nvg, never found those never ever. this is my first time even seeing it in-game. i also have the biggest backpack, another item im seeing for the first time. it says my toon is 4 days old and thats not true, i logged out a few hours after starting over. i have an AKM & M1911 equipped, m16 in the backpack. my humanity is over 2500 and ive never helped another person, ever. it was 2200 or so when i logged out. i have 140 zombie kills and a bandit kill. i only had a few zombie kills because im sneaky and hadnt killed any players yet. anyone else experience this? how exactly could this happen? do i need to change my steam pass or something? why would someone log in and help my toon out? seems weird. its confusing.

i have no idea. my kids sometimes get on here and open up a bunch of random ass windows. but since you bring it up, i bet this is related to what happened last saturday. when i tried to play i couldnt, i had some weird ass errors. while fixing those some cd key errors came up, and i had to copy the key to the registry. it had been deleted. yay hackers. they probably just deleted it after recording it. it took me about 3 or 4 hours to get the damn game working again. i thought it was all caused by windows being lame or whatever. what can i do now? besides a virus scan.

the last time i was killed it was to a hacker. is it possible an admin hooked me up? im not sure how all this works.

what do you have to do to get these other skins? humanity slowly increases over time, i think, is there something specific that increases it? i know that when i kill someone it shoots down like 2000 points or something, i was at -1900 for a while. I didnt notice a different skin. so what exactly do you need to do to get the skins to change?

I did the most retardedly awesome thing ever. It was night time, and i was looting the military tents in stary sobor. zombies kept patrolling around them and it was irritating, so i threw a flare over towards the town and waited for them to run over there so i could check the last few tents in peace. after clearing the tents i circled around to the west side of the tents and heard a zombie very close to me, so i layed down next to a burned out car. just then i saw a player kill that zombie with an axe. they were about 5 feet in front of me. the player didnt know i was there. im sure he knew i was there somewhere because of the flare, but he didnt know specifically where i was. He pulled out a pistol and started creeping into the area between the tents. i crept around behind him and tried to shoot him in the back of the head with my M4. As soon as i hit the left mouse button i knew i messed up. my guy started throwing flare. yes, i forgot to change back to my gun. i hit this dude right in the back with a flare. he turned and started shooting me and i got some shots off before i died but i think i missed. either way i died and he didnt(as far as i know). things he found on me: m4(the one with red dot scope or whatever it is), some pistol - forgot which one, most gear items(i think i was only missing night vision), 2 ghillie suits(found them in a players camp), tons of food and ammo, and other random crap.

i bought arma 2 just to play dayz and ive been playing it damn near nonstop ever since. just ask my pissed off wife about it. its more than worth the $30 i paid, and i play it on a pos computer that barely runs it. still my fav game. also, i highly doubt 4k new ppl a day are buying new keys so that they can cheat. thats really far fetched. "not so bright" sounds about right when referring to your post.
