I'm not sure if this has been already a forum post or had been said/made in other ways - let me know if it has. I am thinking about an "optional" leaderboard for "who lives the longest?". Not ment as a "real" feature, but as "side game" or "meta game" if you want. If you choose to participate in this challenge: you are ranked on a leaderboard, based on the days (minutes/seconds) you live (obviously). You are flagged as "Outlaw" and 'free' to be bounty hunted (?). 'Free' means: People can see when you are online and what server. And the longer you are ingame, the more "score" (time) you get. This is barely a thought. Not a concept. What do you think?

Third Person should be part of the game. However the tactical advantage is too big: looking over walls, around corners,... ect. What about this: you can only see zeds/survivor/supply via 3P, if you would see them in first person. This would fully remove the tactical advantage.

*disclaimer* probably not the first thread, however I could not find another one on this topic. the "night" game isn't very thought-out. the flashlight is rarely useful - you just can't shoot. I prefer playing on a night server, because of the mood and the difficulty. but only if I have fitting gear: m4a3 cco, glock or nvg. however I would like to use other weapons in combination with the flashlight, especially the military flashlight. so my idea on making the flashlights useful: combining weapons with flashlights (duct tape?)

simple point: car's shouldn't necessarily explode if hitting an object, especially on low speed.

if they think about putting in real bandit skins, why not the good ones that are already in the game?

Hello there. My thought is to remove the classification of "bandit kills" and "murders". I really don't think it fits the game separating these kills. #1 A kill is a kill #2 A bandit must not be flagged as bandit to be one #3 The game is ment to be "free". No rules. No classification Why I come up with this: I prefer playing as a "bandit hunter". So, I watch cities and look for people who make trouble and take them out, especially snipers. But what sometimes happens is: I kill "bandits" who didn't murder a person yet. So I get a murder and become a bandit myself, even though I took out a "bandit". So this classification of "bandits killed" and "murders" doesn't apply to people who haven't murdered yet, but still "are bandits". Therefore I say: a player "becomes" a bandit by his actions. He must not kill to be a bandit. And that's why the separation of "bandit kills" and "murders" must be gone.

limit the range (realisitic) or removing the NVG from the game

Death needs penalties. Suggestions welcome

just some general thoughts on how to make the game more "achieving" reduce the amount of tents per person and the overall storage room. => people are more aware of what they have. reduce all kind of spawn, especially ammunition, tents and bags. => people need to measure more: is it worth? add stamina. => sprinting through the world all the time isn't too realistic. arriving somewhere is more of an achievement -
muh +1

increase the number of vehicles and make (most) not required to be (fully) repaired. why on earth are all vehicles damaged, empty and without wheels...?! I would also consider cars leave tracks offroad, but I think it's too much for a mod.

at least making the big ones even more rare

just wanted to suggest this very feature. it's a must have in this game. very, very important.
