I'm not sure but when I first logged into a server I get spawned into "new player spawned" location. I'm somewhere near electro and I remember logging off somewhere near the North West of the map. I'm not sure if this is a bug or part of the new patch, someone please help out. Edit: So far I've tried switching servers and going somewhere in the middle of the map, and when I log back into another server I still spawn in a "new player location".

Question what is zeroing? I'm farely familiar with the game but never used snipers. I'd like to try it

I'm not sure but has the leaderboards ever been up on the DayZ website. I think it would be cool if They showed how many people you killed, animals, and zombies. I know they do the zombies in game, but a leaderboard that displays all players would be cool.

I started playing DayZ when summer hit and I've never really been a forum guy but I thought I'd give it a shot, thanks for the help.

This is a forum to share experiences with other players. Honestly I have been trying to be friendly with everybody and talk to them first before killing. Most of them were trying to kill me as soon as they heard my voice, only 3 out of many people have come out friendly and shared loot and secrets.

Just a forum to share people's opinion on what should be in the game and what not. I do enjoy this mod and I will buy it even if it comes at a price. Just kind of wish I knew there would a stand alone game in the first place and just save my money till it came out. Other than that the mod is great so far and excited about what is coming up.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I bought Arma2: CO full price for the only purpose to play DayZ. I went on a risk to play a mod that was on a game that didn't have anything else for me but that mod. I feel like Rocket making it a stand alone game screws over many people that have done the same. That is if Rocket doesn't give us a deal for the Alpha players for the new stand alone game. If not, we would have to fork over more money for the game again. I just want to know other's opinions and ideas. And yes I would honestly like the stand alone game to be free for us alpha players. Or at least way cheaper than $60.
