Haha, I am part owner and an admin on my server. We tried to stock pile cars and such, but when we got 6 (2buses, 2trucks, 2bikes) we were just finding everything setting up camps. People would kill us and take our stuff, but that's part of the game. Wish other players would realize that. "this brings me to the point of all this" (Rules #21, Don't, grow attached to your gear, it's a survival game and should be treated as one. You lived before that item, you'll live without it. Also when using a tent, only store items your willing to lose. Anything else should be kept on you that you hold as highest value.)

In this case I am glad that they were hackers and did get banned, because as many others, I hate playing vs players who can just run a script and kill you, or use advantaged guns to kill you. Justice FTW... Jrb, you may have my beans! -Unauth

Unless they spawned those guns in and the admin can see under their script.log, it is not a ban able offense to pick up hacked items. You can use them because, hey what if I am new killed a random guy and got his guns thinking "Hey! They had some awesome gun! I'm gonna take them and use them" Should that person be banned for being new??? It's just polite to 1. Burry the bodies with the items or 2. Just leave the guns alone so there is no unfair advantage for other players -Unauth .

ALT+F4???? DayZ Forum Team or not, you require a AS50 in the head!!! :P nothing worse than scoping out two enemies who you've been tracking for hours to see if they will lead you to their camp or sit around and give you the time to set up a proper multi kill chance. When you shoot on and render out of the fight not dead and take out the second guy to old realize the first guy Alt+F4, and you can identify this by seeing the game showing you a pop up on the lower left "user" has been kicked by battle eye for loosing connection or something like that... grrrr and you know that when they go to another server or spawn where ever. They will die and you can't get the loot.... Double Tap ALT when you want to set it going one direction so you can pivot your mouse side to side for that 360* look around as you said. A lot of people don't realize the double tap works on many keys. Had to test it out myself for a while

Also on top of all that, average rule of thumb, when approaching a town or city, or military site. Try to find out the range from the target location and see if any Zombies are spawned. If you are over 201m away Zombies will have not spawned yet, If you are 200m or less, Zombies will spawn, so take that into consideration once approaching a target area. You got my Beans

If the servers script.log files doesn't show the items being spawned within the game, that more so means that the player is using scripts outside the game that is un-detectable by the server. Crappy hackers can get caught easily by the admins. Just search the script logs "CRTL+F" "addweapons, addmagazine, additem, createvehicle" these may possibly show up on the those logs. Next by far the best way to catch a hacker is just Fraps it all and catch his tags, then RCon Ban. Provide video and "POOF" one less hacker.

Howdy, I recently started playing DayZ about 2-3weeks ago, i keep finding tents and i keep dieing, but i managed to before on a random server to find one and pitch one... Now I am apart of a clan and helped pay to get our own server and i found a location at which i wish to make a mini camp "aka" gear stash. I go to pitch a tent and i can't says it must be flat and clear. So i go to a location and try to set it up and nothing. I kept trying many places and nothing. So i go to a completely flat area free of anything, but completely visable from over 600m away... Still unable to place the tent. Now the meat of my question is... Is this a bug or is there something i can do to fix my end and be able to place a tent. My trouble shooting: -killed self re-looted tent / can't pitch -went to other servers -defult settings -found open flat land Each did not work... Help!

I am Stuck in a weird water bug similar to field bug. The cords are "114 079" found a video identical to what happened to me and someone posted "press "V" and did for 10mins... nothing So I am stuck and it won't fix. I Died to a zombie and ran back. When I ran back I got my body from a safe distance I thought, I got to run backwards to make sure I don't go into the bugged area I got snagged into the bugged location. Please get me out. Howdy Thunderpimp and associates, Last night I must say that was personally the most frustrating and the most fun I've had playing this game thus far. You guys made my night. Now I was in the pure thick of things from the start and got amazing respawn zones each time and a random one in Novy Sober in a building. That entire battle we had, was extremely random and honestly I was out skilled in many parts of the entire battle, but in the end I made kills and was killed. I called out your locations and I shot and killed you. Static did die twice during the entire encounter and also we had look outs calling out your positions the entire fight, also many times I shot all three of you and what happened was I hit the ground, never seeing blood splatter, so I knew my shot was missing, maybe this happened to you, also I was lagging a lot so 1/3 shots actually hit its target. I unloaded an entire G17 clip into your face Thunderpimp as you tried to kill me with your revolver. Then you died as I took massive damage. Finally your brother did kill me. I should have killed him, but I froze for a second thinking I can get the clutch shot in an epic way, but that pause cost me my chars life. I was killed by You by your M4 that you ran and recovered, then you went onto static, from what I saw b4 I died static was not an open shot for you, but this video from your brother "Wreck's" Video I can see this. I will never def a hacker because they piss me off more than false claims. Hell I'd even team up with you and kill random's, knowing I can possibly get shot in the back... It's a game to play for fun. However this video is critical to your claim and realize that we won't back down, because I honest to god believe he was not hacking and will do so until evidence is provided to prove to me he is such a hacker. He died before and you already stated they can be turned off and back on, which is true, but once a hacker always a hacker. I was in CSSource apart of a team that went to lan's and competed on high levels of gaming, so I understand your pain when you die and want to just win everything. IF your right I'm sorry, but I truly doubt you'll change my mind unless video is provided. Until said video is provided, stop bad mouthing any of our member and yapping off at one of our co-leaders. Join us on our mumble and just talk with us if you truly want to resolve this, because at this point to continue such a ridiculous conversation like this is just to get attention to feed your ego. You say you're old enough to be in the army, then grow up and act like a Marine. Stop acting like a childish civilian.
