It is 46 pounds unloaded with an extremely strange weight distribution I doubt anyone will ever be able to fire it standing without it knocking the person over.

Yea being able to stop bullets and making you live is not that good of an advantage right. Not to mention the huge disparity in carry space between military loot and civilian loot even though realistically the civilian loot could usually carry just as much if not more than the military clothing.

The they could just make it stick out when hauling it around and then make it impossible to fire unless you are prone or if they ever add it when rested on a wall or an object. Doubt there would be tanks but it would disable just about any vehicle with a single shot to the engine.

No it has to be an unmistakeable sound that is far different from any ambient or player made sound so the player could instantly know a player is login in near him.

Well I think I might have found the perfect weapon for the Anti Vehicle role and one that is not tacticool or overpowered. I never mentioned it before because I always assumed they were no longer found or used but the Recent Ukrainian conflict has shown that this firearm is still very much relevant especially in Eastern European conflicts. The PTRS 41 This is a semi automatic box magazine fed firearm that packs a wallop it could disable vehicles with as many as a single well placed shot thanks to its massive rounds that are substancially more powerful than a .50 cal round. Reason it would be relevant is because of its modern day used by rag tag groups of fighters in both Syria and the Ukraine. The other reason why it would be so fitting is because of its lack of optics rendering it a skill weapon for ambushes. Once stamina is added this weapon could be a real pain to slug around the map but would be devastating for ambushes on vehicles and be nasty for penetrating structures that are barricaded.

I hate the word balance. I rather they just emulate real life to their best of their ability and any "balance" is done via controlling the loot spawn percentages.

Probably not finished yet. Right now the clothing that is in game is pretty slim give it some time and I am sure the clothing variety and eastern clothing variety will increase.

The devs have a great challenge with the clothing however. They cant really get too wild with the clothing since it seems the clothing must be unisex and work on both female and male player models. I feel the clothing seems pretty authentic for the region it has that eastern vibe. Does not feel like Western clothing at all.

Rust has a good system. Simple melee can break down walls and doors. Different melee objects can destroy doors and walls faster so it is tiered. Explosives can knock them down instantly but are extremely rare to find. Good system that allows a player to get past barricades.

Yup hopefully dayz continues to be brutal and hard. Although it is slipping on that front, every new addition seems to make the game far easier. Lack of Stamina, the insane run speed, the extreme abundance of loot and many others.

Yes. as people have stated before having people drop in behind you or even in your vicinity when you have already previously cleared the area is downright bad. this is one of the biggest reasons why I am a huge proponent of a Rust style sleep system and one character per server.

Why should the games balance be affected just because you only have 20 minutes to spare and don't have the foresight to log off in a secluded area.

Good way to incorporate stocks could be to somehow simulate different cheek welds with different stocks.

That would be awesome having weapon parts be purely cosmetic or offer more utility by having the ability to mount useful attachments such as lasers or flashlights.

I always assumed it was to give value to the accessories. With out unrealistic dispersion rates determined by what attachments are on the weapon magpul parts and such would be purely cosmetic.
