    Those would be all nice. But even just adding mil turrets alone would make for a huge shift in how people play.

    Once again why? A single thermobaric round would easily take out a building. Currently and in any situation I can see there is no need for such a weapon.

    So long as nothing stupid like apcs are added there is zero need for rockets. Why not add some teamwork and add a spg 9 instead requiring at least 2 people to set it up and a third to carry a tiny bit of ammo.

    The Ak 74 is the standard issue weapon of the military in game. So 5.45x39 should be the most common round in military bases. 7.62x39mm should not even spawn in military bases and magazines should spawn empty. This ammo should only be found in residential areas in small 20 round boxes.

    Fix to the fov slider

    In order to fix the fov silver exploit in game why not make adjusting the fov require the game to restart. This would temporarily fix the fov toggling for better magnification on the optics. Of course eventually a locked fov when zoomed in should be the ultimate solution.

    Quicker roll-out of the Hero/ Bandit system

    They can achieve a bandit and hero system in the game and one that is not restrictive on the clothing or that would require any art assets to separate the two . They can simply adopt the Red orchestra 2 approach. In red orchestra the axis and allies each had a very different set of animations that would allow the player to sorta identify friend or foe from a distance. The devs can do this by having two distinct animation sets for the most common actions in the game tiny subtle clues to show what type of player you are. Here is an example Allies sprint with both hands on their weapon with a more upright position. Now the axis sprint with a crouched stance and with one hand to the side, one hand grasping their primary weapon.

    Makes me wish Chenarus was an island so the spawn points would be spread out throughout the map.

    Amen If the devs can somehow manage to make the loot system work so that players can in no way specifically look for specific items and certain items like Optics are ultra rare thus ultra sought after.

    Love the New Sway

    The new weapon swaying is fantastic. The weapon is realistically uncontrollable when you are out of breath but it is still realistic when you are calm and collected. This is yet another one of those tiny subtle changes that makes the game better and puts it further away from being a twitch shooter. Tired Sway Rested Sway Hope they continue to make the game feel more realistic and less arcade stuff, hoping the sprint speed is next along with a stamina and weight system.

    .38 special

    Pretty simple suggestion. Add 38 special to the game with the appropriate muzzle velocity and damage. The benefits of adding .38 special are the following. + Lots more gun variety possible due to how prevalent .38 special has been throughout history + compatible with .357 magnum weapons + Can allow for .357 magnum to be made far more rare Any weapons they add in .38 special such as older revolvers should chamber .357 magnum also but firing .357 magnum out of a .38 special weapon should potentially result in the gun exploding and at the very least the gun becoming damaged. If added the .38 special should be far far more common than .357 magnum.

    Awesome. This would work. I would love a semi automatic foul shotgun. With an aggressive choke.
  17. Yea I completely agree which is why I think mil/moa turrets and elevation adjustments would be such a huge improvement for the game. It would force people to learn each and every firearm and learn proper holdovers but more importantly it would truly make each caliber shine by showing how ballistics different they truly are. I really hope they do add a civilian hunting rifle with a rainbow trajectory similar to the 9.3 the problem I have with the. 30-06 filling this role or even the 300 winmag is that the trajectory is far too similar to the .308 and 7.62x54r. Using a more short-range hard hitting big game round would truly go a long way to separate all of the firearms and making them more unique.

    Every item should be controlled and carefully tweaked by the devs. This would also help ensure zero duplication of items and if there are items it would help identifying those who do and allow for swift bannage.

    probably part of a in depth medical and injury system that is not quite ready yet.

    They could add the m44 or m38 as a version of the mosin that does not take any accessories not even the pu then shift the loot tables by making the m44 common and then moving the pu optic capable 9130 into a controlled list that is made rarer. This would achieve having a low tiered mil surplus bolt action rifle filling the role of the enfield from the mod. of course they could always just strip the mosin that is in game now and give it a straight bolt and achieve the same thing.

    yup. I wouldn't mind the old cod approach aka puff of smoke when the body is hit and the smoke lingers in the for a split second. The puff of smoke could be interpreted as being dirt or debris that the dirty survivor has accumulated and was dislodged by the bullet.

    I know I am just saying that the .357 out of the rossi should not be giving the player rifle range due to the lower velocity , the .357 magnums bad coefficient and barrel length. 300 yards should be about the max you can hit out with the rossi some good info on various .357 loads out of a lever carbine. I don't know how indepth the ballistics are in dayz but the muzzle energy should be substantial at close range for the .357 magnum but due to how quickly the round decelerates and the low weight of the rounds it should not be that deadly at longer range.
