Manual bolting in Red orchestra has to be some of the most satisfying mechanics in any fps ever. Nothing beats laying your rifle out a window zeroing your right sights to 300 for a distant target firing seeing your bullet hit then like a badass manually pressing left mouse button to eject and put in a new round.

22lr is far more lethal than 100 yards. I expect low knockdown power heavy bleeding from the 22.

Yes back in Ww2 perhaps and even then weapon technology has advanced tenfold so has ammo development. You will never I repeat never find a stock mosin nagant using surplus military ammo that is more accurate than any new m4.

I loved the old Dayz mod damage model. Nothing was as satisfying as shooting someone with a m24 at 800 m and then having them pass out immediately then seeing their friends trying to bandage them only to also get shot. I would then have 2 people bleeding out on the ground who I would then shoot again when they returned from being unconscious.

Why wouldnt it ? In the event of a zombie outbreak a school would make for a solid fortification. Lots of room for storage, heavily built structure, easy to secure, and a large refrigeration system in place. A school would end up being an emergency refugee location for survivors who would also bring weapons.

Last thing the game needs is even more military loot spawns. Balota should be converted into a civilian airport with civilian things inside. North western airfield a Russian airport with russian weapons and ammo and vehicles North East airfield a small Nato airport with nato weapons and vehicles.

Dayz could stand to take ALOT I mean Alot of things from Red orchestra 2. Everything from weapon resting on objects to reduce sway, to realistic weapon handling and ballistics to attention to detail. If the shooting was even half as good as it is in Red Orchestra I would be a happy man. Attention to detail in Ro2 is insane here is a small example. Mosin 100m zero and 100m set on the sight. How it looks when aiming Mosin nagant elevation sight set to 2000m Here is how it looks when aiming Everything in RO2 is impressive when it comes to gunplay and handling tiny things most people would not notice like the manual bolting mechanics actually increasing the bolting speed to the bayonet stabs doing damage depending on your run speed and body position hit.
