It is not breaking 3rd person it is simply fixing the only complaint the community has against third person view. Corner or wall peeking should not be a thing it simply shouldn't and like mouse acceleration it should be fixed sooner than latter.

A depth of field filter applied to everything not in sight while at the same time not rendering players could be a good fix to prevent players from poping in or out when people step out of cover. That along with a fade system would fix everyones concerns.

It's too easy for me at the moment. Everything from the insane 14 mph sprint speed to the lack of a stamina system or even realistic ballistics or realistic sniping. Everything is far too easy and the game suffers from it imo.

Isn't that all 3 good reasons. no map flow = more random experience scouting becomes more useful since people could be in any town sure but it would make them struggle to find where they are.

Hopefully it still is. There are alot of things they can add to continue to make it an anti game. 1. Completely randomized spawns that can spawn you in a military base or in the middle of the wilderness lost and disoriented. 2. ACE style ballistics and sniping + wind mechanics that already confirmed. Eliminating the 100m elevation adjustments would add much needed skill to sniping and eliminate the over abundance of noob snipers seen in the game. 3. A stamina/ weight system that punishes you for carrying too much weight and at the same time eliminates the unlimited sprint and thus makes vehicles more important.

I have noticed that we have never discussed a stamina system in these forums even though it would potentially improve the game tenfold. A stamina system would fix many of the problems currently facing dayz at the moment and could potentially allow balancing of heavy weapons in the game. Currently a lot of the heavier weapons such as anti material rifles and LMGs or HMGs are faced with harsh criticism and justifiably so due to how they were implemented in the mod. Unlike real life carrying these heavy big weapons in the mod had 0 drawbacks, no having to hump around 30 pounds of extra gear and ammo, no having to rest after sprinting 10 miles. A stamina system and a weight system would allow these weapons to be incorporated into the game and at the same time be extremely balanced compared to other weapons due to their inherent drawbacks. The other big thing that would be fixed with a weight and stamina system is the unrealistic sprint speeds of 14 mph and the unlimited sprint given to players. Even though the players are possibly just normal people they have the endurance of the very best triathletes in the world. So how would you or would you not incorporate a stamina/weight system and or what would you add to fix the issues of unlimited stamina.

Absolutely had the mod had a stamina system the as 50s might have not been a problem. ACE style stamina system + heavy weapons = you are gonna have a bad time atleast if you travel long distances.

well wasn't stalker completely different in stalker was it not the case that mercenaries from all over the world traveled to the zone to earn money and make their fortune. Since the mercs consisted of so many nationalities they brought with them their prefered weapon systems with them and this lead to a wide variety of weapons making its way into the zone ? That is not to say this would not be the case in dayz since we really don't know anything about the backstory or lore in the game.

That gave me chub. Mostly civilian and russian focused weapons would create a an awesome atmosphere. Would create a more believable world. Also what is wrong with a russian heavy world ? Are there not russian equivalents for every weapon category ? Any category of weapon you want the russians got you covered. A stalker 2.0 along with more clothing options from the region would create an amazing atmosphere.

Good let them hack and glitch, they are forcing the devs to address these problems by doing so. During the alpha I encourage everyone to glitch and find faults in the game so these are no longer a problem in the full release. Who cares if it ruins some peoples fun, they should be testing no fun allowed.

The new free aim mechanics are awesome. Free aim + 1:1 mouse movements rock like how heavier guns are slower to move around.

The stance system is terrific man. It makes shooting out of windows possible. Helps remove alot of the clunkyness.

Yea there is no lore yet so thats just something everyone assumed was the lore.

Unnecessary server strain Imagine a 40 player server where even 1/3 of players are doing this causing server strain and lag for everyone else. This is why we need absolutely random spawns across the wilderness.

Suicided 30 times, we need a temp ban across all servers when people suicide.

Yea the devs trolling us , probably laughing at all of our outrage about tactical weapons being added. Laughing at all the outrage on here and on reddit.

50 cals really would not be a problem if they just fixed the stamina system and the sprint speed.

I would add a mosberg mvp patrol in 5.56 too. Accurate bolt action that is in 5.56 nato , has iron sights, + it takes ar 15 / m16 magazines. -
Yea realism allt he way. If they were going for realism the as 50 would never even be seen in the game. As50 is about as obscure as you can get. Even within its birth nation.

I honestly rather see makeshift anti vehicle weapons or weapons that ordinarily not be anti vehicle fit this role. I rather see ieds, pkms, rpks and molotovs be in the anti vehicle role and not just anti vehicle sniper rifles a rare and impractical weapon.

Ksvk fits that description. It would make sense too its a russian firearm. It however is not as accurate as the as50 or the m107 this is mainly due to the low quality of russian 50 cal ammo and the scarcity of match ammo for the rifle.

well there would be a ton of k98s in russia. Russian ww2 captures. Certainly alot more than m107s.

I didn't even think about that. I guess battleye could kick people if it detects teamspeak or mumble are on. They could also kick you if you are on the most common ports used by ts and mumble. -
:/ people just do not want military loot outside of Russian firearms and guns native tot he area in the game. That is all really. Although any thermal weapon in the game of western or eastern origin would be pretty game breaking.
