    True but they should just go for fullblown weapon resting mechanics instead of the lazy method of just reducing sway when the bipod is out.

    You don't like realism do you ? poop is already in game all we need now is an animation for it to come out. Would like for it to also be a pickable item so you can force feed it to people or rub our arrow tips and .22lr bullets with it to infect people.

    I am going to say what I always say. The more realism that is added the better the game will be. Every single facet of the game should be believable and authentic including the nutritional system in the game. Bandages should not cure a gunshot wound to the chest, a player should not be able to live off a diet of only beans and soda.
  4. Has anyone in the game been killed by a pistol outside of the revolver ? Honest question because I have yet to see a single person use anything other than the m4, mosin, revolver or sks.
  5. I would imagine having a fatal gunshot wound would lead to death in a few minutes no ? If you are at the point of incapacitation death would probably come quickly.

    they have shitty triggers though. I mean like super shitty not sure why but all bullpups have horrible triggers something with their design I guess.
  8. I want this so bad. I want a 5.56 to the chest to incapacitate a player for a short time but not outright kill him. death would come from bleeding and or more shots to the body and head. Nothing was more satisfying in the mod than shooting someone with the m24 seeing their body pass out and then finishing them off with a headshot as they layed passed out.

    It's those same people that are all to happy to accept unrealistic features such as the weapon dispersion and the dumb accessory mechanics with open arms.

    Those are placeholder animations from arma 3. Who knows how its going to be held or if it has a stock or not. hopefully it spawns with a stock otherwise its pretty corny.
  13. Not long enough imo. Should be 3 minutes atleast. Then when private hives come in your character never leaves the server you need to sleep. This alone would push people north and force them to barricade or build a house before they leave the server.

    Cool addition I guess, hunting style single shot break action pistol. Yes more civilian weapons where is our .223 bolt action.

    My hope as well. Alot of the weapon mechanics seem like place holders. Mosin using lrs, sks using pu optics. Seems like the mosin as been given the lrs until more suitable bolt guns are added atleast thats what I am guessing . Then once more guns are added the accessories are going to be redone.

    That's my problem with the system. The m4 should be as it stands the 2nd most accurate weapon in the game regardless of what parts it has or not. Even an m4 without a handguard should have the same accuracy as one with one. When it comes to accuracy the order should be according to real life values. 1.B95 2.m4 3. sks 4. Ruger 10/22 4.mosin

    Pretty much. all of the magazine fed weapons are pretty useless due to not spawning with magazines. The only one that does not go by this rule is the m4 as it always spawns in mil loot and within mil loot there will be magazines in close vicinity of it. This is not the cas eiwth the other weapons.

    It's the solution to so many of the games problems everything from realism to banditry to killing on sight to skill less snipers. It's a one stop shop for problem solving but more importantly it solves problems without outright alienating people with skill.

    Yea the only way to "combat" kos is to add depth and skill tot he game. + More in depth and deeper survival mechanics will ensure kill on sight will probably be lessened or at the very least unskilled players will be unsuccessful most of the time.
  20. SKS has incorrect sight adjustments. Problem - The sks does not have the proper sight elevation adjustment. Fix - Allow the sks to be adjustable up to 1000m.

I hope they outright only allow the pu scope on the mosin in the future once more suitable hunting or target rifles make their way into the game such as the remington 700 or savage model 10 or tikka t3 or any modern bolt gun. 1. The mosin nagant fires 7.62x51 nato while it should be firing 7.62x54r.
  22. think thats a bug, I was thinking more in line with mistakes or overthoughts when concerning weapons, items, clothing etc. Something as simple from a screw missing on the model to some as major as incorrect reload animations count. Gews should come right in any moment now and lay down some knowledge.

    I don't think it would be that simple since I have yet to see any game with front focal plane optics. Closest we will get to accurate mildot scopes is fixed optics.

    I have always wanted front focal plane optics in arma and dayz but I don't think it is possible.
  25. Yea the savage is an amazing bang for your buck rifle. The accutrigger is just lovely too. Hands down better than the stock crap trigger on a remington 700 hate the xmark trigger.
