I rater they let us stack shirts and clothing on top of each other to the point it restricts movement.

Well on the bright side turning down your settings really low in dayz gives you a disadvantage and not an advantage.

Stop thinking of dayz as a video game and your problem is solved. No need for a detailed list but I will run down on the main reason why I think it will be good for the game not this particular feature alone but as a whole package of features that are similar. The entire goal of the game is to immerse the player into this world and to believe they are looting areas in order to survive. Pooping is just another device used by the devs to hammer in the fact that this is not just another shooter, your player has very real wants and needs. It needs food for energy, it needs water to stay hydrated, it needs rest hopefully in the future for over excertion , it needs to defecate . all of these things add to the game by ensuring you know that your player is healthy, they are all combined tiny additions that immerse the player more and seperate the game from other shooters. without such features Dayz is simply COD at the coast with occasional eating and perma death. SPAWN - Find gun - run to coast - PVP - die Repeat.

Sure it just happens but in the Arma series it happens quite often and alot. Hopefully with time and optimization this can be diminished. Another good way to prevent this would be to have a shake effect when you get hit by a gunshot that changes completely your point of aim not allowing you to get an immediate accurate shot right after taking a gunshot.

Wouldn't ace zeroing fix this ? Since each weapon has their own ballistics muzzle velocity and bullet drop. All the devs would have to do is put in different types of scopes each with their own maximum elevation so for instance. The SWFA ss 10x say this optic gets added to the game all they would have to account for is what the maximum elevation adjustment is for that particular scope right ? So for this optic for instance the manufacturer lists a maximum elevation adjustment of 130 moa. All they would have to do then is drop the optic in and allow it to adjust up to 130 minutes of angle and then the community and players do the rest. The community or the players finding the right dope for different ranges with different rifles. While a remington 700 or a cz .308 rifle might be able to shoot out to 1200m at 130 minutes a .22lr will be lucky to reach out to 500m with the same elevation adjustment. Does this make any sense.

Is that a bug or purposely inaccurate zeroing past 100mm. On that note I really hope they fix the zeroing on the weapons. I would like the mosin to be able to zero to 2000m like it does in real life, although good luck hitting anything past 800m with irons. That being said a skilled player with a good shooting position should atleast be given the option of being able to tag people from extended ranges with iron sights, if only the iron sight zoomed a tiny bit more to accurately simulate our vision.

Akms are plenty accurate the stereotype of them being inaccurate is completely false and is the result of people who have little to no training using them in conflicts .

I think its a arma 3 mod now thats why all the servers are shut down. There was a few other survival heavy mods too. http://2017mod.com/ It is simply named 2017 now and it has no zombies it has some kind of weird survival horror elements where you begin to lose your sanity if you do not interact with people or something. http://youtu.be/b7muFf3wKWQ?t=9m5s amazing that it takes modders to fix fundamental problems in the game such as 3rd person view peeking meanwhile in the actual game and mod they don't address it. Atleast not yet.

sleep should get added just like rust has it. When you disconnect your character stays in the game sleeping. This would force people to venture north to disconnect and stay away from the coastal towns when not playing. as for sex, a person could go an entire lifetime without sex or masturbation and still be healthy its a basic human need but it is not vital to staying healthy.

There was a mod for that 2017. The game was pure survival everything was scarce and limited. Military weapons were pretty non existant and the game was anything but pvp and deathmatch it was true survival. Point is if theres something you want modding can make it possible.

Wall glitch is what allows this to be so easily done. A 4th wall mod is needed to fix this.

I only listed that Range finder because it seems its one of the preffered ones amongst the precision shooting community. It is relatively cheap for its features and range 1000 bucks and it is accurate. It has a long range but there are cheaper hunting range finders that only accurately range up to like 1200 or 1500m.

Absolutely am not. This is a mature rated game thus it would be perfectly fine with mature content. Realistic bullet decals and gore not only has a visually appealing element it can have a gameplay element. For instance say you see a players body in the middle of the road you walk up to it and notice a portion of its head is missing or see a bullet entry wound in the head, you immediately know to not loot the body and run like hell cause a sniper probably has you in his sights.

Wait till they add wind and proper realistic bullet elevation adjustment. The amount of rage will be glorious.

That sentence alone is the reason why pooping absolutely needs to be added. That tiny detail that tiny little feature like pooping adds to the immersion. The fact that your friend would have to go into the woods and defecate is instilling real life behavior into the game.

Amen give us blood guts and gore baby. I wan't a visual change in a corpse when they allow cannibalism. Make a model of a player with his intestines partially removed to represent that person was gutted by a player for food.

I was referring to the unrealistic aspects of it. 1. Compatibility is often wrong or missing - aka mosin with LRS and b95 with out optics 2. Unrealistic characteristics such as bipods increasing mechanical accuracy.

trouble with who exactly ? Is there some international anti pooping police that issues fines and tries to ban games no. Dayz is a digitally distributed game that is sold through steam it does not have to obey and stupid preset expectations for a video game.

Perhaps but it will only reflect how the majority of players want. However there will always be vanilla servers that is a given. There will always be a server that caters exactly to your needs.

In this thread we discuss the defense of a very valid playstyle and the bad game mechanics that the developers add that cater to care bears and that punish our playstyle. Game mechanics that artificially try to change our playstyle but ultimately fail. So go forth fellow bandits and display your distaste for crappy game mechanics that punish our playstyle such as items becoming completely damaged and useless when killing players. And the countless other gamey mechanics that are in the game now or will be added in the future.
