You can launch it perfectly through six updater, just remove dayz from the Dynamic preset ;P Its no flaw. Its a user error. I always add beta first, then dayz. If I want normal CO i just remove dayz from the preset, and press launch game.

I'm just gonna say this since its clearly not obvious. A DayZ staff member has already replied to this thread. Meaningless posts from other users (Such as myself) is just .. wasteless. Go find other posts to post on, stop spamming the ones where DayZ staff already has taken an interest to.

Just to be 100% clear on this, you DID remove DayZ from your modpath right? As in you started ArmA2 CO without any mods? And you did not move the arma2 directory into arma2oa ?

@Dallas Im just gonna respond with "Huh?" and leave it at that. Now, what I think would be really cool is something like DayZ, only with all the military equipment, and without the zombies. (I'm just going with whatever I can think of at the moment, so dont expect the nest part to be well thought out.) You start out as a private, in either opfor, blufor or independant. All you have to begin with is a sidearm, or maybe not even that. Know what, maybe a dayz meets warfare, meets takistan life, if you know what I mean..

Unmetered :) I guess I would get a call if I used 1 gigabit constantly, but thats not the case :) Do you know how hard it is to even use 100mbit continuesly? -

How do you know they arent planning on, or thinking of putting it in the game? As rocket has said, they are only touching the top of looting in the current version. Now, im NOT advocating hacking or cheating. But I cant kick/ban someone for something that someone else did. I can ask them to not use it, but I cant enforce it. Doing so is admin abuse. -

you will afaik NOT be global banned for picking up stuff out of a crate. Sure you didnt make the box aswell ? ;)

From what I've seen on posts on this forum, also a post made by rocket, having "illegal" weapons is NOT a bannable offense. Hacking them in is, having them is not. When an admin bans(read admin abuses) for this, he should really stop being an admin. -
Why on earth would anyone buy the standalone if the mod has the same features? Logic tells us that no, the standalone will have features the mod doesnt have.

as far as I know there are no G36 in DayZ. Rocket has stated that having it is not a bannable offense, BUT some server admins will still kick/ban for possession, even though thats admin abuse.
