Last weekend i finally managed to win a firefight against all odds, all thanks to an empty tincan! After a fresh respawn I was running east, towards Balota airfield. While i was bolting across the field west of the airfield i heard shots. I turned north and i saw a guy in a ghillie suit fighting off zombies on a hill. I was pretty sure he was trying to shoot me and attracted too many zombies doing so. So I ran into the ATC tower and found one AK-74 with three mags. As the airfield had spawned quite some zombies i also grabbed two tincans, just in case. Since i knew where the ghillie sniper was hiding, i ran around the hill to get him from behind. I ran into the trees, saw him crouching, prolly waiting for more victims, and shot him, full auto. Right as he dropped i saw two other ghillied players running off like panicking chickens. I managed to wound one, then sprinted back down the hill. They sent a grenade after me, but missed. As i was not sure if they had more grenades and were about to use them, i returned their fire with an empty tincan. Soon as it hit a tree and a noise was produced two people logged simultanously. I stormed the hill, and I was indeed alone. I had scared off two decked out players with a mere tincan. I looted the body and saw a hacked PDW SD and some strange machine gun, probably hacked too, along with all tools in game. Took the tools, hid the body and logged off for the day. All hail the tincan!

Was that a silenced PDW? They are hacked, don't pick them up. Hide any body if it has one, so others who don't know better won't get banned.

Guess i'm a dumb nut for thinking this behavior was determined by something in the server settings :P Have some beans for enlighting me!

I was just back from searching the whole south coast for a car wheel to fix the white pickup truck west of zelenogorst. Fixed the wheel, filled the tank (everything but wheels was red) and drove off to find some parts to repair the rest. As i was 20m away from the barn i get shot at. I make my way through zelenogorst towards the south, hit some garbage, one tire is flat, i hear shots again and BOOM, i'm lying at the street with ~1700 blood. Luckily i wasn't bleeding, so as soon as my timer was gone i crawled into the grass where i passed out again. So i was lying next to my car wreck, waiting for that bastard or one of the countless zombies nearby to finish me, but nobody was coming for me. When i woke up again i ate some meat to put me above 4000 blood and crawled into the woods.

You can check the player numbers by pressing 'P' ingame. I do that every 10 minutes when playing at a low pop server.

The sad thing is they probably don't have the skills to kill anybody in COD, so they have to resort to a game where people spawn unarmed. Sad, sad times :(

Worst death: I was somewhere south of Stary, when i saw a crashed helicopter right next to a road, not far from the woods. I started crawling towards it and when i was maybe 50m away another player showed up at the heli, armed with a hatchet, a bunch of zombies chasing him. I typed "friendly" into direct chat several times and went ahead and shot the zombies behind him with my akm, carefully aiming to not hit him by accident. After the zombies were all dead i paused next to him to ask if he needed any help. At that moment i noticed another guy in a ghillie suit with a sniper rifle to my right, maybe 3m away, taking aim. Needless to say, i got shot in the head and dropped with -4000ish blood. I don't know if they were friends or if he shot both of us to loot the chopper.

Oy, FSB is my nick ingame. I can be found running through the woods and scavenging lonely farms or abandoned airfields on my own or with my brother. I'll never shoot at sight and i'll always try to hide with my gillie suit to avoid confrontations, but if you open fire at me be prepared to get it returned properly. See you in the woods B)

I was running across what seemed like an endless field somewhere in the north west (i haven't found a map yet), when i noticed a small building, spawning two zombies. I crawled up to it and saw that i couldn't enter it. But then i saw something else behind it. A shiny red tractor, fully functional. And the fuel was at 3/4. So i entered my first vehicle, started the engine, took aim, and mowed down the two zombies. I turned around and noticed that 2 other zombies had spawned behind me and mowed em down too. It was a good day. Then i logged off and forgot what server it was on :(

/signed Real bolts don't take up much space if you stick them into your backpack. Implementing a quiver or stacks of five bolts would greatly improve crossbows.
