I wish I could fly one again. Got to do it once after a friend was finished with one he found. It was just great to fly around all the towns and spotting people. For some reason I was naturally good at flying it, I was landing on rooftops and doing some low and fast flying. Loved it. Any Idea where I might find one again??

I have the hero skin and I still get shot on sight all the time. I would try to trust people and help them but not any more unless I'm with a group and we come across one guy. The other day we help a guy in Stary who was going to die to zombies in the tents. We chat with him for a bit after we fix him up and a few mins later he kills both of us for nothing, he even had better gear. That was kinda the last straw for me.

No, you're being shot on sight just for fun. I have been shot more times with nothing than I have with good gear. 9/10 people don't give a shit they just want to shoot people for the fun of it. I have the hero skin and I still get shot on sight by everyone.

I've seen your posts in a lot of threads now and I must say in all of them you sound like a dick. Check the attitude maybe; chill out. Not everyone knows as much or is as good as you, get over it.

You don't need a range finder, all you need is a map and waypoint something near. Remove zeroing so people actually have to try use mil dots would be ok and only headshot 1 hit kill unless low blood.

They don't get wiped, the get duped... great! You are testing a game in the alpha stage, they can do what they like for testing to see the results. Currently it's not a true test on how the game progresses with every kid in the game having a fucking THERMAL scope AS50. It's bullshit and needs to go. Also it would remove all the duped stuff. So what if you lose your tent? You get to go loot for your stuff again, it's more fun.

Join random server and click disconnect at the lobby. Or add "-mod=@dayz" to your Arma 2 OA shortcut and launch from there.

The Thermal Scope AS50 is a fucking retarded weapon to have. I don't know if it's official or hacked but so many people have them due to hackers/duping. There is ZERO skill required for this weapon and using camo/stealth is useless.

Comparing DayZ to CoD... nice. That's exactly the wrong attitude to have in this game. If you enjoy shooting loads of people with sniper rifles then go play CoD. I'm just getting sick of every kid and his mother having an AS50 now with all the hacked/duped gear and doing nothing but sniping. There are other games MUCH better designed for this. I like to actually loot my own gear at risk, the feeling you get and the reward for the effort is worth it not like just running to a camp every time.

Can't you go play normal Arma or something if you want to snipe everyone?

I'm so glad this is happening to you. So stupid for people to get all the vehicles and just horde them miles away. They don't even use them half the time what is the point? Let everyone have a fair chance at getting vehicles. I'm playing the game 2 weeks and have yet to find one.

I have just seen this problem with friends trying to join servers with the wrong DayZ version. After they update it's ok.

Have you updated to 1.7.2.5? It has to be done manually and not through six launcher.

I think it's great and exactly what alpha testing is for and why we can have a greatly involved mod community. OP I hope you can share this with us soon. Flushing works ok for me (still not really a solution) but I have friends who are plagued badly by this.
