Yea I don't mean baseball bat does no damage, It could do as much damage as the other melee weapons for balancing I guess. Just doesn't make you bleed, but instead knock's you out pretty much in 1 hit to the head. -

Haha its a great show!!! I don't even just mean for RP situations though, Yesterday we met a guy who had double barrelled but wouldn't tell me if he had any ammo, I wanted to do something to make sure he didn't kill us, but didn't want to outright kill the guy. The minute we decided to move out he killed me and my buddy. Just imagined if I had been able to bind him my char might still be alive haha! Even if it was just a temporary script like "You cannot use weapons etc. for "x" minutes" So I mean, you could log off and go on a different server but you will still be bound etc. Maybe even if it only lasts like 30 minutes or until you get your bindings cut. Cuffs lasting longer. People would only have to play along if they wanted to live, if they try escape then they are going to get shot or something. So it is in the interest to try and persuade your captor to let you go etc. I just think it would add a nice element to the game where maybe people weren't so prone to be trigger happy for fear of someone hitting them and tieing them up haha! -

What up guys, Basically I've been thinking for a while how it is possible to take hostage of another player by just holding a weapon up in his face but he can always just run away. If I want to knock him unconscious, there is also the problem that he might just die by bleeding out on me. I want some kind of blunt weapon like a baseball bat or night stick that I can use to knock a player out without doing any bleed damage, then once he's out maybe cuffs (rare drop from cop zombies) or just rope or something to make sure he's not gona be able to run too far. Would be awesome to see real hostage situations taking place in game, or if a survivor is looking like he might turn on the group, tie his hands to make sure he isn't gona kill you at any minute. I can imagine the feeling of being someone's prisoner and seeing my opportunity to make a break for it and escaping as just as exciting as running from zombies etc. if not more so. Perhaps rope could eventually be worked off by the player or cut off by other players. But cuffs would be a lot harder to get off, but they are rarer so its less likely someone will use them on you. I'd just like to be able to act scenes from the walking dead n other great zombie shows where there is an unpredictable / unstable member of the group that the rest of the group decide to subdue / bind them to avoid being attacked, without killing the unstable of member of the group. TLDR version; Baseball bats and hand cuffs. Thanks, Ruckus
