dont overload with guns... maybe rocket should have a poll of guns he is willing to make/add and we all vote on the most game changing/needed? also... suggestion.. an air rifle? would be quiet but weak as. can make for an easy to find weapon, avaliable at supermarkets (cus these supermarkets have more dangerous weapons than we have at our local asda) XD

i like this thread.. and people bitching tend to be the server hoppers... so admins shud proberly look at them closer. however, leave the dog alone... i like dogs and they already made doggy.. so leave him alone! XD

i love the idea... you should favorite your "home" server and stick to it. if ya wana risk a new life, starting at the beach isnt a bad compromise

5 hours...... was talking to my team mates the entire time. they didnt wana risk the car, so i had to roll... roll.... roll.. and so on. eventually they decided to pick me up.. but forgot the morphine.. :/ i cried as they drove off to go look for some at cherno... i was north of stary at this point lol eventually they did come back and we all drove to north west airfield and lived happily ever after

i was raiding Electra on a UK server, then i randomly got teleported into the far right hand corner of the map. this happened last night, and this morning i re logged thinking maybe i would end up back on land.. but unfortuantly it doesnt work like that :( as there is weapon drop while swimming.. i cant reli go back on without lossing everything (and it taking over 2 hours too swim) just wondering if someone can somehow make it so my character is at the beach? dont really want to start all over again since hackers killed my last 5 characters if not more :( my in game name is [RAW]Shadytash 101

surely the admins should have there server revoked? if they wont play by the rules

maybe.. on the side bar, there should be infection levels. which can be attained in certain ways zombie attacks mostly sorta like hunger, and when it runs out you transform and die. but, antibiotics can cure it or some sort of anti virus can raise your resistance levels again. there for, being shot in the face, you can still loot the dead person, but then other members simply killed by zombies may escape but succumb later to the virus. makes medicine even more important as it shud be. maybe this could even make heat packs useful?

no, dont shoot down his ideas. the point of a open landscape map is exploration. maybe if you could make them randomly spawn per map (like helicopter crash sites) then maybe people would mark them on maps and such. could be interesting to mix things up like that

why not make it so your ?honour? points carry on even if you die? so that newly killed bandits will still be a bandit, and killing them in self defence will still be honourable. and people who want to change can still make a new character and play good with that one.. so no big deal there

what happens tho if a bandit wears a gillie suit? does the mask go ontop of that also? or vanish

maybe just a fan competition. make videos, or take pictures or bake a cake. anything to show your appreciation of the game. then one of the admins pics the best 20 and we all vote on the best :D

well, even with spitting it out, would leave a horrible after taste and would make you feel dehydrated.... so maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea. have it so drinking it doesnt take so long and makes a spitting sound effect and drops your thirst a bit. not necessary to add.. but not too shabby if they want to add another element to the game :)

well, i like the idea for bears. very much so. but since you cant reli get caught out by one bear. and they dont travel in packs. maybe also add wolf packs or wild dogs (which are already in arma) would be easy to implement and would also be another great threat. maybe bears will fight the dogs! XD

all i am guna say is.. i will pay up 2 £100 aslong as you can 100% guarantee no more hackers would be willing to empty my bank account even if that was sorted

i totally agree. the community im with who play a number of games recently was given a dayz server kindly by rocket and his team. only in the last 2 days, hackers... and i mean 10 hackers at a time spawn helicopters and all crash into cities. then when people arrive on the scene, make it so the all fall unconscious and run up and kill with an axe. if i was going to say what has to be changed, is rocket implement the plans he had posted in another topic to log everyone and to permi ban anyone using modded games.(know one needs to even touch the files, so ban them all) and this shall also stop server hoppers who constantly sit at barracks, fire stations and take all the good stuff. make it so its good to stay on one server, this way peeps wont server hop, hacker can be easily caught as it will be odd if there the only ones hoping around and then i can go a find some freakin beans in cherno! from england, over and out
