    What the hell just happened?

Thanks. WTF? Seriously, how did this crap happen?
  3. So, what do you guys think about this? Any criticism, hate, or love is welcomed below. It's a free internet! Humvees: M240 mounted Humvee: Range=90 kilometers. Fuel capacity=300 liters. Armament=One M240B machine gun mounted on the roof. Rarity=5-10 per server. Seats=5+1 gunner seat.(No idea for item slots) Very loud engine, and high profile (easy to see). Bullets should be deflected by the glass, but 2-3 rounds, depending on the weapon, would penetrate and hit a passenger. Speed on road: 100 kilometers per hour, off road 75 KPH. "Ass Monkey" Humvee: Transport Humvee. Range=130 kilometers. Fuel capacity= 350 liters. No armament. Rarity=4-6 per server. 7 seats, however should have DOUBLE the item slots of any other vehicle, as this is a transport vehicle. Should have slightly less armor than M240 humvee. Speed on road, 120 kilometers, speed off road 90 KPH. UH-60 BlackHawk: Transport chopper with side mounted miniguns. Seats=14+2 gunner seats. Just as many item slots as UH-1H Huey, maybe slightly more. (It is bigger) Top speed= 250 KPH. Fuel capacity=800 liters, range=900 KM (it is slightly more fuel efficient than the gas-guzzling Huey). Armament=2x door mounted M134 miniguns. Incredibly loud, should be louder than the Huey in this mod, and the sound of these BlackHawks should be louder than in the original game. I mean, seriously loud. Like-hear-it-from-a-mile-away-loud. This should only spawn at military fields, and spawn 1-2 per server. "Medevac" UH-60 Blackhawk: Transport chopper made for medevacing injured troops from the battlespace. Seats=12, plus two patient litters. This chopper should have at least 50 slots for blood bags, bandages, painkillers, morphine, Epipens etc. Top speed=275 KPH. Fuel capacity=900 liters, range 950 KM(it's an ambulance helo, if people are doing good deeds with it, then they should be able to get where they are going). No armament. But players should be able to fire their guns out of the aircraft. In the aircraft, players should be able to bandage, give morphine and painkillers, and blood to themselves and others, this is an ambulance after all. And remember, Devs, this is only a suggestion. If you don't like something, change as much as you wish. Could we get a mod in here to sticky this/send it to the devs?

    Zombies running to fast!

I see what you mean, they tend to run AWAY from you at first, before coming at you. Makes it hard for that perfect headshot.

    Don't Trust The Boobs

This kind of thing has happened too many times. In real life, though. P.S. How the fuck did she get your TS address?

    How I Lost My Humanity

nice shooting. Unless you are in the crosshairs, never try to say friendly, as they will almost defintely stab you in the back, unless they are new, your IRL friends, or have way more gear than you.
  9. I'm not just talking about the main game, but also the Day-Z mod, how do I "zero" a rifle scope for a certain distance, so I don't have to hold off by ten feet?
  10. richard_b

Curiously, how do you zero a rifle?

Do I hold page up/down? Because tapping it doesn't work, only zooms in.
  11. richard_b

Curiously, how do you zero a rifle?

That doesn't exactly work, it only zooms and unzooms a rifle scope. I mean, how do I set a rifle scope so that there will be no bullet drop, where I am aiming? Once on Youtube, I saw a vid of a guy who made a 2,000 meter headshot after he zeroed his rifle in to that distance.

MY STORY ABOUT SO HOUR AGO >>>LETS GOO~~

    What grade are you in?

Need Medical Assistance? We can help.

OP, you sound like a good guy who is just trying to help folks out. God knows we need people like you. Tell you what, exams end this Thursday, and by this weekend I'll download Day-z, if you need a bodyguard, a pilot(which I'm good at) or a driver, just shoot me a PM. I'm gonna change my name to SuperComputer, so it won't create any confusion. Well, M.D?
  14. I have some suggestions, hear me out: 1. Keys. Players should be able to drop keys for vehicles in certain areas to prevent stealing. The computer would detect whether or not the person had the keys on them. When the person went to disconnect, he could drop the keys somewhere random. Some vehicles obviously do not have keys. 2. Transportation Companies: Certain people, such as a group owning a helicopter, should be able to pick people up in exchange for money or goods. While the heli is hovering above a marked spot, the Survivor should be able to offer some goodies in order to board. The pilot should be able to deem the goods acceptable, and once so, the person should be able to get in the vehicle. 3. New Vehicles: Blackhawk helicopter, unarmed transportation Humvee (no guns, but more spaces for fuel and such) and generally more vehicles with more cargo space, more fuel efficeincy and passenger space. 4. Ability to spawn in on a friend. A person should have the ability to friend someone, and once they log in, should be able to spawn right behind them if they choose. 5. Garages. Folks should be able to keep their vehicles in a safe location, like a garage a person can build using scrap metal or something. 6. Clans. Obviously. Groups that you can spawn in on and hang out with. 7. Fortresses: If a certain number of people are ina town, zombies should no longer spawn in that town, as people may be guarding a safe zone. This would provide hope for lost survivors. Thanks!
  15. Definitely, I rarely lag with my cable connection. Exams finish up Thursday this week, so by next week (after exams) I'll be able to assist you guys in hunting bandits. I once heard of a guy who shot a bandit in the leg, he fell down, and the horde behind him chewed the bandit to bits. Bandits. They deserve it.
  16. Love it when I shut a door behind me and they just run through it.

Why dont we just take a city?

Security would have to be hella tight. It couldn't be a large town- it would have to be very small. And the people guarding the town would have to have unquestionable loyalty-backstabbing is just too common. And you'd need Humvees guarding the town.
  18. Nice group. Just curious, I've been playing ArmA and ArmA2 for quite a long time now, and I haven't started playing Day-z yet. However, I've watched godknows how many survival vids, and read strategy guides. And I have TS3 and a mic. I'm 15 and I live in Florida. I won't be able to start until May 25th or so, is that ok? Role: Squad Designated Marksman
  19. So I'm in a bit of a pickle here... I have not only ArmA 2 on Steam as the demo (free version) but also Op Arrowhead! I heard on another site that you could use the free versions of both of these on Steam and that Day-Z would still work-but I can't install it! I've looked at three tutorials so far, and they all say the same thing- you have to drag certain files from this site into your Arrowhead folder, but my ArrowHead folder can't open. Can anybody offer advice, or a different method of install?
