Today a bandit shot me while I was looting the grocery store in elektro. Yesterday I stupidly died of starvation lol. Never been killed by a hacker.

This is a good idea. Any reason the game doesn't announce when people leave or join?

There needs to be a solution to this. Maybe not being able to re-join a server within 5 min of the last time joining that server? I think this would work because at least you can switch servers (because half the servers don't work lol) but you cant ghost people as easily. Idk, just a thought.

you have 1 post, so im guessing you are new to the game. The game has a learning curve, the inventory takes getting used to. This game has a lot of functionality and because of this their are a lot of controls. This is what a PC game should be, could it have more polish yes, its not perfect. But once you get used to it it does work well.

Guess it depends on the case, my antec twelve hundred seems fine, my overclocked gtx 570 has never gone above 85 degrees (arma 2 is the only game to ever get it above 75, including metro 2033). And my 2600k @4.4ghz does not get past 60 in prime 95. Its definitely not hot. The twelve hundred has 2 fans on the front, 2 in the back, a giant fan on top and a side fan. Id say it flows well at least.

I agree, Dayz Commander is useful. Good filters, easy to use, easy to update, lets me run the game through steam.

qft The other day I was in stary lookin for loot, im in a tent and I start gettin sniped. My heart was racing, I look around trying to find him to no avail, so I run for it. I got away but w/ only 5k blood left and I got lost in the run. So I quickly found myself in a fight to survive. I later died to zombies while trying to get food. I felt like a dumbass lol. I would not have been so desperate had I not gotten lost, so the sniper did kill me eventually lol. After playing for a bit, can't complain about the PvP, it makes for interesting situations, instead of the predictable zombies.

lol, some of em go to real places, I got shot by a sniper in stary yesterday. But I think most just want to see their humanity plummet and their murders skyrocket. More people by the coast.

The mod will always be around, maybe one day only private hives will be up, but the dayz mod will stick around. If your ok with the bugs and frequent hackers no reason to switch. The stand alone will eventually have fewer bugs and many fewer hackers.

lol anticheat. No, this mod has 0 anti cheat effectively. Arma itself is on the honor system. The standalone wont have this issue, for now we cope.

True, fewer hackers. Most servers I have joined wer eless than 20 players. Only seen 2 hackers in about a week of playing. Still a lot thought :P But at least its not every day or every server like some streams i've watched.

For me its day time servers or NV. Stand alone will be great to help this. But till then our in game doods don't have pupils...

It will run well. Not maxed out. More a mix of high mostly and a few normal settings @1080p

I usually pick up every can of whatever I find. I was lucky the other day and found a water bottle, I always drink that first because I can refill it. Just don't leave any liquids behind if you can avoid it.

did you log into the same server? I have heard the glitch occurs when you swap between 1.7.2.4 and 1.7.2.5 servers. I have not tested this so idk how much truth it has.
