how do you find food to eat?

If you have a hunting knife, you can also kill animals and butcher them for meat. But you can't eat the raw meat; you will need a fireplace to cook it. However, cooked meat heals more blood loss than any other type of food, so it's worth it to have matches, a knife and a hatchet for collecting wood.

    The Problem With Saving Location

The saving of your location and gear upon leaving/entering any server running the mod is nice, but at the same time it is one of the many things exploitable to gain an advantage over other players. Think about it. Let's say you're on a server with a bunch of people. A group of guys has a base set up with some vehicles, a stockpile of goods and a couple of goons guarding everything. Walking up to them in the open or trying to sneak around would be suicide with how good their security is. But you can log out, find an empty server, get into the area where this team's base it set up at, log out, re-join the server where the people are, and kill them all from behind. You can also gear up by doing much the same thing. Simply go into an empty server and start grabbing everything you can. I am just glad that vehicles do not save in this fashion, or it would go from being a zombie survival game to just a massive helicopter dogfight.

    Zombies are really ghosts.

This does not seem like a very complex modification, having played Chernarus Life and even the vanilla "When Diplomacy Fails" mission. It certainly has some nice features, like the hunger/temp/thirst/health icons on the side bar (in Life, you have to open a menu) and it sounds pretty awesome when you hear about it; survival in a large, open world where you can do almost anything against zombies? Yeah. But the zombies are the worst part of the game, next to the horrible people that play it (but I will save that for another topic). First of all is what seems to trigger them to aggro. I could be crawling on my belly hundreds of meters away behind a fence and all of a sudden, 13 flesh eaters are bearing down on me like bats after a mosquito. I could run... Boring as that is; they run at the same exact speed as a player, so if I am in a full sprint, I will keep them at a safe distance, and then increase that gap by putting obstacles between us... Or I could if zombies didn't just warp through solid matter. There are an abundance of resources to build fortifications; all of which are completely useless against the zombie AI. I don't see how it's hard to make the AI not phase through barriers like this; the basic Warfare mission (no modification needed) does this perfectly fine with the barriers you can place from the HQ/Repair Trucks. All these barriers do is give players a way to grief. Countless times have I joined a server only to be trapped in a spawn because it was surrounded by impassable barriers some jackass laid down.
