Sounds awesome, with many types of infections, players need different types of antibiotics, love it. Has anyone thought of adding a backpack dedicated to those wishing to play the medic yet? bright white with a red cross on it, is 30 item slots and unable to fit anything but medical supplies?

Woke up on the beach, it was dark, sky was completly blanketed with dark clouds, i was close to Balota air strip, i got lucky and found a G17. I decide to check the medical tents across the highway, as i climbed down one of the deer stands my legs got broken by a zombie. I begin the long crawl towards Cherno stopping every once in a while to scan around using the torch attached to the G17. Onwards i crawl in complete darkness using my G17's torch every now and then, i spot someone near the beach via them using there torch, i call out for help, they approach and see my G17, i explain that i need morphine from Cherno hospital, "would you please help me, can you get me some morphine" i ask. "Sure i can help" they say "but i have no weapon" they say "how about you give me that G17 you got in case i run into any trouble" they say... I think to myself at this point "yeah fucken right, like im going to give my only form of defence away to a complete stranger who will a) shoot me with my own gun? or B) leave me for dead / force me to crawl for morphine? The one and only bandage i had got used, i had nothing, no food, nothing to drink, no painpillz, just this G17 and 1 mag with probably 10 rounds left it in, so i was desperate, i told the guy to come closer and ill put the G17 in his backpack, pew pew pew to the face, i now have a bandage and painpillz, and after a long long crawl, i did make it to Cherno and got my morphine. I will never forget that night, till this day im unsure if made the right decision, it may or may not have been the worse thing ive done, i will never know......

Since everyone is giving there honest feedback. From my observation the game has turned into nothing more than a PvP shooter. It has not evolved into the game i had hoped. Im guilty of playing the bandit, im also guilty of playing the hero, i stick with hero when playing on official hive since humanity actually works on them servers. But as for the private hives, it benefits the bandit. As i see it, the DayZ community splits into 3 catogories. 1) -Bandit- = This type of gamer while varied has no interest in your feelings, most will kill you just for the LOL's and pleasure of knowing the one they just killed will rage and get upset, that is why most do it, they get some satisfaction causing others grief, lets be honest, its not because you might have some food or drink, or gear they wish to steal, they do it for self gratification. they are selfish. 2) -Hero- = This type of gamer gets joy out of helping other players out, they enjoy the excitement of meeting new people and feelings needed, wanting to have a purpose in life, to give something back to humanity and help fight against the zombie infested world now everyone has to endure. They are selfless. 3) -Survivor- = This type of gamer is unsure of his destiny, as they walk down the road the paths split into 2, they have now been shot at, killed, helped out by strangers, they ask themself "who am i?". The majority will turn into bandits unfortunatly, fact is, once you have been shot at or killed 9 out of 10 encounters with other human beings, you tend to think thats the norm and best way to survive. Its called "conditioning" They create the mindset that hero's are either complete idiots and have a deathwish, or they have balls of steel. It all comes down to survival and no one wants to loose there gear, so for the survivor, the choice becomes clear, if you cant beat em, join em, become yet another bandit who will KoS, get a few laughs & drink from the victims tears, better they spawn on the beach somewhere with nothing than you right? the saying "Trust no one" is the conditioning everyone has adopted. Opportunity to meet new players while ingame have been greatly reduced due to this conditioning, the threat to life in DayZ does not come from flesh eating zombies, it comes from the other players, someone please remind me what this game is called? it has become more about surviving against other players rather than surviving against the zombies. In closing, i have my doubts about the stand alone being the game i emagined, but then again, perhaps its a reflection of what humanity is like here in the real world, humanitys future always rests in the next generation. This game is giving us an example of what the world might turn out like, thats if you take your game simulations seriously, because thats what i thought this game was about...

now there is food for thought, why not make it so that only the czech backpack has the ability to carry 1 primary weapon, all other backpacks in the game can't. the choice one would face, think about it? would you sacrifice a coyote(24slot) for a czech so you could carry that rare find, you already have 2 primary weapons slung over each shoulder.

I see what he means, i see what you mean, lets pretend the player can wield 2 primary's weapons slung over each shoulder, not inside backpack. Make it so backpacks can not store primary weapons, make it so each individual item that can be placed into a backpack a maximum of 5(handgun) everything else must be carried in main inventory (Engines, wheels, rotor) Switching between Sniper/hunting rifle & AKM or what ever, i see how handy that would be, i would have to agree having a set button to operate a toggle between primary weapons could add a whole new dimension to the PvP + Zeds combat. To only have the ability to carry 2 primary weapons and no more unless in the trunk of a car etc. Sounds reasonable to me, could be interesting to try.

I for one think its great, awesome work to all involved, community and devs. For those concerned with the combat logging when being attacked by hackers, remember it works both ways, example being, if a hacker spawns behind you with an as50 and blows your head off, they are now in a predicament. Think about it....

Beans to you, good job killing that hacker and destroying the hacked in gear, lets hope this evidence will help them track this douch bag down and global ban his ass

Looks great, a game rich in texture adds to the realistic feel. When i think about a game that i would enjoy above all others, it is a must to have a realistic look and feel. This game comes very close to the game i dream of. All that is missing is= 1) Limb decapitation for Zombies, Animals & Humans. 2) More blood and guts, blood trails. 3) Zombies being the main threat to survival, only PvP is 70% due to friendly fire, other 30% asshat bandits. (plus would be great if once a player turned bandit skin, NPC's spawn at random locations & actively hunt down said bandit) 4) Doors that can be barricaded and broken down, broken through by Zombies. 5) Stench meter, allowing for detection of dead. (i do like the fly's, but they should disappear after set amount of time) (plus can allow for infection if have no face mask, bandetta or gas mask) <-- perhaps even a clothes peg lol. 6) Map size so large that a helicopter would need stop for fuel once or twice in order to reach from 1 side to the other. 7) Many more melee weapons with different damage outputs. 8) Many more clothing options. 9) Many more drug types, both legal & illegal, including alcohol, tobacco & caffeine. 10) Fire damage, molotov's & flamethrowers. <--- even if its just a can of fly spray & lighter. 11) More zombie types & increase in zombie numbers. <--zombies really do need be the No.1 threat. 12) Many more animal types plus vermin, like rats, foxes, snakes, bears. <--if i were hungry enough id eat a rat or cat. Could think up more, but i wanna get back into gaming ☺

Running down to the beach with a backpack & inventory full off empty whiskey bottles & empty tin cans to kill a fresh spawn while taunting him over voice, throwing can after can, bottle after bottle, slowly bleeding him out till fallen unconscious, but still, they may regain consciousness, keep throwing cans & bottles, and if run outta trash plan B, 1st choice is axe...

For the loyal DayZ players who would'nt piss on WarZ developers teeth if were on fire, being one such loyal dayZ fan, i was really hoping the dayZ team released a new DayZ patch including dogs into the game the same day the WarZ alpha access began, oh well, was wishfull thinking.

toughest decision i have ever faced in Dayz was when i had but 2 carry slots available and i had to chose beetween a can of pasta, can of sardines & a can of frank n beans, I left the sardines behind and regretted it eva since, on cold lonely nights it really helps remember the wife when you apply that can of fish to the palm of your hand,

yes true, i appologise, now i think of it, if SVD, M24 & DMR clips can be found in ammo boxes, why not FN FAL & Bizon mags too? M107 rounds can be found in many other locations, so why not Bizon and FN FAL aswell?

Some want PvP. Some want NO PvP. i want i want i want whaahhh whaahhh. Grow up and accept the fact that to please the majority of the players a balance needs to be achieved. To increase sales for when the stand alone is released, the game needs to appeal to everyone. So i say YES, let there be a PvP & a NO PvP option, why not? have them as seperate Official Hives. Somedays i like to play the good guy & somedays the bad guy. Having the option to play both would be great, Currently i can only play the bad guy on private hives due to private hives not saving humanity. On the official Hive my humanity is topping over +35,000, i love the hero skin so much i wont even pick up camo or ghilli clothes. My wish for the stand alone is that the zombies are so beefed up that surviving just them alone is dam near impossible, As it stands right now, zombies are weak as piss & the only threat in the world of DayZ are other players, and that makes me sad, i really thought this game was gonna be a realistic zombie apocolypse simulation where it was more likely players would jump at the chance to team up when meet another survivor, NOT shoot on sight. So how has it turned out? for most? run forest run, go solo, be lonely, shoot anyone you see, what a lonely & boring life that must be, id much rather make new freinds, create alliences, trade equipment, build bases and repair vehicles, but for that to work, the zombies need to be beefed up.

Get rid of the .50 cal rifles, get rid of the DMR, the only sniper rifles should all be bolt action slow reloading rifles, and as rare as a banker being jailed for his/her crimes, no wait, that never happens, ok make it as rare as finding a priest in the news charged with molesting children, no wait thats way too often, how about make it so finding a sniper rifle is about as rare as finding a public hair in your soup. My hope for the stand alone is that the server owners have the ability to tweak what weapons can be found, if they do plan to add in many melee weapons, a melee only server would be fun to play on.

CZ 550 rocks, i hope the stand alone introduces more types of hunting rifles, all different calibers, oh and also some put together weapons like the spud gun.

Oh i understand perfectly well, private server, you make the rules, ban who you want, i get it, far as my friends are concerned, i know its not a big deal either, i was just explaining how friends stick together, thats what friends are for right? Your correct about the building i was talking about, yes there is a ladder, i only found that out later, you see the 2nd last time i was on your server, i did see players being dropped off on top of that roof by heli, thats why i was under the assumption it was the only way up there, that was untill i disscovered the ladder. fact still remains tho, i had only just logged into the server, top of the clock tower building, and i was able to see 2 players poking out over the edge of the wheat silo's building, i took a shot, i still have no idea if i hit the player or not, but they both did back away from the edge. "since they were getting shot at while inside the corridor of the Triple Yellow building" <--- i dont even know what building your talking about? and like i said, i had just logged in, shot maybe 2-3 bullets at the 2 players on top of the wheat silo's and then was admin banned, i was on the server for no more than 2min, thats the truth, i have no m issing game files, i dont have x-ray bullets or what eva you want to insult me with, with your hackusations. I know what i did, and didn't do because i was there, so it comes down to my word against there's, and i honestly don't care who you believe, all i care about is knowing that i dont use hacks or cheats in order to enjoy this game. why else would i spend most my time playing on private hives? because i have fucking had it with hackers and cheating inbred cunts,

Fact is i have not deleted any files as one of your admins had claimed and reason for me being banned, i even done a steam file verification just to make sure and all the files were fine, its no big deal for me, i just simply remove your server from my favorits list, if this kind of treatment of your players continues, soon you end up wondering where all the traffic has gone? take me for example, i play daily and with 7-10 of my mates, we will only play on servers that we can all play on, none of them have ever been banned from any servers yet, but someone on your admin staff did, has banned me from your server, so that equals to no more Nort and no more of his 7-10 mates ever playing on that server again, its that simple, being an admin myself, its always wise to make a detailed report of who, when, why you ban someone, backing it up with the evidence so that no abuse of privelages has occured. idk why im even taking time out of my day to reply back or even help, i wont be returning to play on your server even if got or already have been unbanned, its this kind of shit that for me is 1 strike and your out. have a nice day.

LOL wow you just admin banned me from ya server with the statement "dont make file deletion so obvious" are you fucking serious? is that the best excuse you could come up with? i bet it has more to do with the fact i shot at 2 guys at the highest point in cherno, only way up there is by heli drop off, and im guessing there your mates, i may even have killed one, im not sure, they sure did shit tho, i logged in from last place i logged out, top of town clock building, let others see this post and take note: you shoot at admins friends you end up banned for some lame excuse reason, i have not deleted any of my game files, i have never been banned eva till now, every server i have ever played on, official & private, this is more the case "Admin Ban coz Admin Abuse, dont shoot at my friends" <--- thats the REAL reason.
