All those things you listed have come a long way since Operation Flashpoint. Expect those little things to be better polished in the standalone game/Arma III

Hell yes. This x10. The developer team (Rocket was in the military) recognized that this game is the MOST realistic military simulator while providing an authentic gaming experience. There is no better engine for this game.

Zero. We weren't in Elektro. We were up north. Another player and myself were hunting Disgraced. After the hunt was over, we met up and drove around for a bit. Point is, if the community puts an effort...you can still have fun in this game. Jumping into a server alone and having a good time. I guess some of us need to organize more community events. They rock!

Well that was fun! I thought it would be more fun to not shoot and loot the military chopper together. Of course, we weren't alone in the Teamspeak and unfortunately Disgraced paid for this dearly. We all came to a truce and drove around Chernarus. Here are some photos

It is hard to take someone seriously when they have a photo of them holding a weapon (finger on the trigger) and not looking ahead.

Playing at dusk and dawn is great if you don't like the wonky lighting!

Sniper Rifles are situational in my experience. As much as I love using them...I have to recommend the M16 with an ACOG scope. You get a x32 magnification and up to ~750 meters using the elevation lines. You can fire in semi and burst (3 shots).

Absolutely. I used both of them and DayZ Commander is generally more user friendly and updates less. It is made specifically for Dayz whereas Six updater is for a multitude of games. I recommend it!

Pasta. Great source of Carbs for quick energy. Beans are good protein but lack all the amino acids the body needs. Nothing beats cooked meat for protein! Of course, none of this has anything to do with the game. I like to collect sardines, cooked meat and a canteen for water.

I remember reading somewhere that the developer's brother is a Virologist. For those who don't know, virology is the study of viruses and the evolution of them as well. However, a virus is not the only way someone can be infected! There are several pathogens such as bacterial or fungal. Maybe I am over thinking it but these little details interest me. Can't wait to see the variations of zombie attributes in the standalone version.
