I've played a few "private" servers today to see how they work and server hopping is eliminated in them due to the fact people can't server hop, ghost in and out and dc and reconnect behind you, all the data is stored in there own database, makes the game much better, i think i prefer them now to normal servers lol. No desync, lag and of course there are choppers and all the usual dayz stuff, just not connected to hive, makes the mod like it was when it first came out.

if you are in game now you could join my dayz server with your name and i will watch rcon and see what messages it gives when you join. Usually if you are banned it will kick you off during load so you get stuck in the "loading" bar screen. Also another thought, check that battleye is able to communicate with the internet, make sure it's not blocked in any firewalls or anything. pm me if you want me to see if you are banned, you can join DE22 (my server) and i will watch the logs whilst you join and this will eliminate option 3 theory.

1 of 3 things: 1. your character data is corrupt 2. The database is overloaded 3. Battleeye is kicking you off during load as you have been banned.

i think that is actually a normal script, not a cheat.

we had the same issues on people finding the vehicles, always when we logged out for an hour they would go missing, never when we were online, they just looked at the map and waited till our markers dissapear (because thats how they do it, usin cheats). We even split into small groups of 2 and parked cars all over the place but still got found, some people just hunt vehicles/camps so fair play... but alot hack, on our server i have caught some scripts already, the other scripts are detected it's just battle eye doesn't ban them immediately.

private servers, run seperate from rockets database. You join them with nothing, spawn on beach, and start a fresh toon seperate from "official" servers but they save your toon.

keeps going down due to hackers nuking it i am afraid. Everything will respawn on restarts the way u left it, but the scripts the hackers are using are not usual copy paste scripts, they are "mod appers" and it's hard to detect.

there is no evidence that an admin killed you, you're making assumptions. When several people die at the same time, it's not admins that do it, they can't anyway, but script spawning noobs do it.

i find him to be alright, sees posts for what they are. I don't like moderators of forums much, especially EA ones but that's another story. @BonnyBrown good point so.... admin needs to proove it, with screens and logs. Player just sits in forum trolling? okay. Players don't bring proof half the time... because why would they want to proove, they were doing something wrong? Server admins don't have to proove anything if player can't either, it's 2 sides to a story, 2 parties are involved, no-one can proove anything, so move on already. Players vs admin, when really they are all gamers trying to play, somesort of alienation with admin vs player forum posts. When you accuse someone of something, you have to proove it, or GTFO!!

arma is the problem, even with top range pc's we get issues. FPS drop is partly down to the mod aswell. This game isn't optimised great and it's old, which is part of the problem. You can try cpu count=4 threads=7 after the exe shortcut and change some arma profile settings but it doesn't help much. I get good performance on my build but some people get better on older pc's... weird game. Edit: You can run this game but it's just not made for todays setups really. cpu hoggin is so bad on this game..gpu hardly gets used either.

i know a few but not sharing locations since people just teleport to them and blow em up.

Dude, i doubt you will get any better performance from it, it's a laptop, not a gaming machine. I think you'd need to run this game at a lower res to increase performance maybe an extra 5fps. You could try n overclock, but in all honesty it's not a great setup for arma. Arma is more a cpu hog than anything else, your cpu will be ok but arma eats up cpu and i think yours will struggle.

Server logs are not going to help in these instances, they won't show you got banned for raiding an admin camp, and unless the player was 100% sure at what time all this happened it would be hard to track down who dc'd and who didn't. More to the point, it is far to common that "admins" are "abusing" power, when really it's just sour grapes someone got banned for something they did, usually the simple outcomes are the truth. I just can't see why people with these epic stories never have any proof at all or never provide any videos/screens but for some reason admins have to proove otherwise. Words vs words is bs and it's time it changed. Evidence, this is the key to all various things, without it, nothing.

Threads like this are useless. More important things to worry about like hackers killing the mod.

i read on a hack website that they do it to piss rocket off for his strict server rules - the same website rocket mentioned a few weeks ago, so i visit there often to read what they are doing. Rocket is a member there and pleads with them not to do it, it's sad as fuck.
