i can't even start the server with new patch, the .exe crashes, i'm running previous beta for now.

you did that right thing, if they only just joined and after 3 minutes made it from stary to the coast then something isn't right. All green too? highly unlikely it would be natural to find these colours and all drive the same colours. Your actions probably were about right, you decided on a decsion and executed it.

Has the profiles been changed in the beta? For example you can't change any settings in veteran anymore such as 3rd person off/ch off/tags on Or you can't change regular to remove nametags/ch etc. it all loads it's default stuff, so it's now what the difficulty is supposed to be? I like to run a profile with everything off except 3dp and you can't anymore? you have to have your profile with the default reg/vet settings?

i want my 600 hours back too from this mod aswell why your at it.

The database is actually really quite simple.. i think you take to much credit for the database in all honesty. Ok the mod is great ( i couldn't make it) so clap clap. But honestly i've played and seen private servers all this week, with own databases on dedicated box's, also looked at the database from an external site that mods your mod, and the database is really quite simple..i am a certified mcdba and i say it's pretty easy structure for DB. What do you think to people who are now running what seems like a better system than your database at the moment? OK so they have less connections to deal with, but makes the game desync and lag free, it's nice. Who said the modding scene was dead?

our server was a mess from multiplay, half the configs were missing, we didn't have access to half the stuff, cpu overloading crashes, servers going missing off the lobby listings, support ticket system was really slow due to them always passing the book. So we ended up cancelling after 3 days, they have a 5 day money back refund policy, which i then had to wait for refund for nearly 19 days. Overall was really dissapointed in the service. It's weird because i've had minecraft servers,, bf2, bf3 and never had these issues, so i'll put it down to them being a bit noob at this dayz server stuff. I ended up buying a dedicated server of my own for £50 more so i have a nice shiny box to run whatever i want on. Also my community rents a dayz server from another host for £20 less.. so for me.... no ta multiplay lol.

i think rocket mentioned he has a device (I FORGET THE NAME) which you can syphon sea water from and use this to drink from has like 6 water bottles of filtered sea water, he talked about it before in a post - i am sure it is coming soon.

maybe you could donate some money and help them pay!

what has it got to do with you, dayz or anyone else? They are not connected to the database you play the "official hive" on. Who cares. They are modding a mod to play it on their own network and shit? Before complaining on a forum that doesn't care, research the subject you are talking about, you sound like an idiot.

yeah it will be on sale man, they seen how popular the game is, of course they will put it in the sale, it would be silly buisness not to.

Tonnes of private servers now, they are infact miles better than "official". I've been playing a proper dedciated one just like you would pay to host one, single private database is way better, 50 players, no lag no desync, no ghosting in and out, people who are at the nw airfield and other loot hotspots earned the right to be there instead of hopping from one server to another, heli's work, some custom civilian vehicles, why bother with official at this point? Just like dayz used to be, playable. I think once some of the official hosts/people who buy servers cotton on to the private system, they will end up with similar setups, the current serve rules are alienating anyone who want to support this mod with official setups anyway.

@bossfi yes it can and it is. It's like being stood in a queue at a bank, it takes a while for everything to be processed. But when you get to the cashier and they do what they need to do, you just go to the back of the queue again. Rinse and repeat for ever. private hives/multi hives etc is like being in the same bank but there's NEVER A QUEUE! Sweet or what?
