As a long time DayZ player I've hopped a multitude of servers trying to find the right fit for it's community. I stopped my search when a close friend I have referred me to bmrf.me. I for one wasn't a fan of private hive's at the time and was a bit reluctant to try it out, and let me tell you, I was surprised. Some people see white listing as an annoying step to do in order to play on a server but this process helps weed out unwanted people (hackers) and also helps maintain a healthy population of quality players. Their administrators are people you can respect and expect it in return. They handle accusations in a timely and unbiased manner, which unfortunately not a lot of private hives do and this sole fact adds a lot of quality to BMRF. You can't run and lead a community without a solid foundation. They can check logs against player reports and ban combat loggers and suspected hackers, they don't do "he said, she said" which you don't find very often. BMRF doesn't just host vanilla dayZ servers but a multitude of mods for dayZ as well. Just to name a few; Epoch, Origins, Redux, Namalsk, Taviana and not to mention the new Sahrani map that came up yesterday. BMRF hosts some insanely spec'd machines for their servers, almost zero lag, awesome frames, and quick load ins. Doesn't get better than this. Most hives I've seen didn't have very active forums, let alone an active IRC channel, BMRF has both. Not to mention a hosted team speak server for you and your buddies. You have nothing to lose by giving us a shot, you'll experience an open and responsive community with great gameplay experiences. I think you guys are trolling me with the hidden choppers, searched 6 hours yesterday lol. Found an Mi24 vehicle shell blown up, but I'm not sure if it was one of them. Even lowered my graphic settings to bare minimum to search through wilderness better. I'm bummed out.

Did you add a variety of air vehicles? Seeing all Hueys and having guys ram the other helis into the ka60 once I found it was annoying lol. (If I cant have it no one will, type of mentality on there)

I had the same problem, came across this server about a week ago and never got it due to the fact it wasn't listed on commander. Will give that a try as well now, thanks.

Deal with it. Same way I am, and a bunch of other players are. You're not vigilantes. At this point, this is just a cry about you guys having hackers on server. Rules are rules, no one gets special treatment. Quite honestly, admins like this one are most likely the reason DayZ forums are requiring so much information regarding server bans.

This server abuse report has already been approved so ignore whatever the admin says and just blacklist this crap. Doesn't matter if you ban for 5 seconds or 5 days. If you don't have a viable reason directly correlating to the rules of server hosting then it's not allowed. Fuck your opinion as admin. Are you serious? It's "BANNING INNOCENT PLAYERS"

* 1st Incident Three of our guys get shot down near Stary Sobor by Thermal AS50s. * 2nd Incident Two of our guys go recover a motor bike north of Stary, we get fired upon. One of the guys from the previous incident logs in after other clan mates were taken down at Stary Sobor (was logged before firefight). We end up killing 4 hackers with AS50 TWS (thermals). We hide the bodies along with the weapons. (I don't know how you guys lost that one, must suck really bad because none of us had thermals) 3 non hackers VS 4 hackers *claps* and we won. * 3rd Incident En route to drop off recovered motor bike, as soon as I reach camp a satchel charge goes off in front of me (premature explosion btw). I log off. No point in dying to a bunch of hackers which whom we killed just minutes before. Later on @ server lobby one of them starts ranting about how they server hopped to get the drop on us (that's an exploit). And keep spawning helicopters on that server, we shot one down today, there is no way another had already spawned non-hacked. And thanks for letting us know that you duped those AS50 thermals that supposedly were picked up from a "hacker". Hope we didn't ruffle your feathers. =ATS=

That was pretty hilarious. Guy most likely saw you with better gear and said YOLO. I lost my innocence helping noobs a long time ago.

We don't server hop expecting to find noobs in major cities. If we didn't stay on long, it was most likely us looking for a new home server. Good luck on your future PvP encounters with =ATS=.

Does the server do .pbo scans? People tend to move those files from the directory so trees, bushes, buildings are removed from sight.

I'll come check it out. Our 'home' OCN Miami server went down on us and wiped for good so we're just floating around right now. And ignore those who tell you to change your server settings (there is a server browser with filters for that exact reason).
