Hey, iv been looking for a group of mature (additude wise not exactly age wise) 3-5 man group to play some dayz with regularly, i will not gear anyone up i gear myself and myself alone. Finally if you are a electro or cherno sniper do not message me to join you as i despise any noob sniper i prefer going after people with the same tier gear as me. P.S a teamspeak/vent server would be nice but beggars can be choosers MSG me if you are interested

Your running through a field or have been playing for a while your gun gets shot at (or getting rusty). Its now damaged and there are is a chance for it to jam, the jam could be minor and able to be fixed or it could be major and no longer usable. to prevent that from happening you need to repair. you need these to repair your weapons (items in game): -Scrap metal -Wood -Etc you need these to repair (items that could be added): -Weapon parts(depending on where the weapon is damaged/rusted): barrel, stock, scope, etc -duck tape -Etc Of course adding in items to repair weapons would probably be after dayz goes standalone. Anything to add? Please pm me so i can add to the post (full credit will be given) Or comment

hey, iv been looking for a home server for a while now but cant really find one i want... so i came to the forums to find one. i do like to use servers with these On/Off: third person: On nameplate: Off always on the current version of dayz (right now being 1.7.2.5) average population 0-20 sidenote: I would like if the server was around Canada or the eastern part of the U.S.A

the other day i was playin Dayz and everytime i shot an animal i never got my bolts back and was havin a hard time finding more, so i thought to myself what if you had a pile of wood and knife you could make 1-2 wooden arrows that would last 1-3 shots before being destroyed so i posted my idea in the wrong forum (im that smart) however some other people posted on my old post PvtJelo suggested you would need tin cans for metal tips, magikacoffe suggested a quiver to hold a certain amount of arrows in, So just to recap on the post... - arrows can be made using some wood and tin cans - quiver or some sort of bag made to carry bows If you have any other ideas post here i would like to see what people come up with and i put in names so i did not steal ideas.

he wants to penalize player killers and i know there annoying sometimes but theres no good reason for it pvp is a big part of this mod and trying to punish it is taking out a key element zombies are more like a roadblock you see them try to stay away (for me anyways) and if not just kill em... however players make the game fun you dont know when your gonna get sniped or if someone will trick you into something or you'll go for a trap. without bandits all you do is group with some people get good gear maybe fly/drive around and shoot zombies...and why would they add levelling <-- quote that and post to tell me what are your ideas for levelling (not against it compleatly just want to find some good ideas out there about it)

you should of never got the mod if you dont like getting killed its going to happen... and goto wayz its good for complainers like you who want "safe zones and skills/levelling"

so was looting at the fire house in electro when someone walks in (every player iv came across kills me my trust for players was low) i put 10 shots to his general and hit him a few times however he types in and begs me to stop. Me being reasonable apologized and let him in however i kept my guard up a bit, then he asks for a blood transfusion (after all i shot him a good amount of times) so i said sure halfway through the blood transfusion he shoots me and dies minutes later because he was to stupid to wait for me to finish blood transfusion... I think its just wrong i mean i shot at him and offered to heal him am i the only dayz player left with a heart? reply and tell me what you would of done if you were me/him always gave people chances but people really need to stop puttin holes into people for no reason i understand i had loot and i shot him but still i offered help ... banditry is banditry i guess

thats my point i really do want to be able to find a random player pop his ass because i was a bit shocked that a player was in 10 meters of me but make it up to them without them deciding that i should die. im not saying killing players should not be allowed because its a big part of the game but i would like to go into a camp trade with a few players and get on my way not see a camp and shit my pants

even if that is so (just throwin an example out there) there is a certain trust you give someone when you meet them example, if some Irl see's me gettin robbed and helps he would not expect me to well i dont know.... lets say stab him and vise versa. My point maybe confusing but hopfully you get what im saying

animals are hard to find scrap metal is a bit hard to find i want a easy way to make it however it breaks easy
