So yea, uninstalling, nice playing it for a week but too many hackers and too many bugs. I know alpha blah blah blah but I guess adding useless pets is more important than fixing game breaking bugs. See you guys when they fix all the bullshit.

Found another one in the same field on a different server. This one had already been looted though and there was an AK on the ground. It still had an FN Fal and M14 AIM on it but I liked my guns better. I marked on the map "HELICOPTER CRASH HERE WITH FN FAL AND M14 AIM" but nobody showed up. I wasn't going to kill anyone I was just bored and figured I'd be friendly but I'm sure nobody trusts markers on a map since they scream AMBUSH!

Lighten up Francis. It's a video game. There's no point to band together as zombies are easily dispatched by a lone survivor. Wire fencing, tank traps, sandbags, and bear traps have no effect on Zombies that I've found. They walk right through them. So what would be the point? PS I'd like to see a screenshot of your 11k humanity and 1600 zombie kills. Not calling you a liar just think it's rather impressive that you've been alive helping that long and haven't been betrayed yet.

People are aggressive because the game gets boring. I've played for a week now. One week. And I'm already bored. At first it was a few days of trying to loot the big cities on the coast and escape. That was pretty fun as I died a lot and killed a lot. Then I got the hang of it and headed up north where I mostly died to bugs, hackers, and very unlucky zombie attacks (one hit breaks my legs and the 2nd hit knocks me unconscious... gg) So now I found a crashed chopper, have a wookie suit, have awesome guns, got a jeep on one server loaded with supplies, and guess what? I'm bloody bored! I have nothing to do now except look for more crashed choppers and try to find a coyote backpack and maybe the thermal rifle. So what else shall I do? Go back to the start and kill in the most popular areas. What's my alternative? Help others, get betrayed, and whine about how I lost everything because someone wanted my hard work without earning it? Piss off.

Well I'm not a sniper in any game I play. I get too paranoid and constantly have to turn around to watch my back. I watch videos of people sneaking up on snipers and cringe at how easily they die >_> I just can't do it. The M16A4 Acog was getting on my nerves to be honest. I had to rely on servers with the crosshair in order to kill anything close to me. Right clicking made it impossible to take out something < 50 yards away. I would take out my MK48 and shoot something but it was so loud every zombie for a hundred miles would come running my way. I prefer a stealth approach in this game where I crouch walk in towns and take zombies out with my G17 which is so quiet it never alerts any zombies and it's a 1 shot kill in the head. So the M4 really works out for me since it's so dang quiet. I guess the MK48 will be useful for when I want to PVP but it's really pretty worthless against zombies because of how freaking loud it is. I really need to find a tent and put it out somewhere and put all my junk in it and run into Cherno or Elektro with the MK48 and just go rambo style on people.

There were 6 FN Fal magazines on the body with the FN Fal. 2 were right by a rock next to each other (one with alice backpack, one with starter). The one with the starter backpack had the FN Fal with magazines and the MK48. The 3rd is near the road northwest of the 2 bodies and had the ACOG on it. Good luck sir. I'm logged out and in bed. That adrenaline rush was enough gaming for me.

You guys are killing me!!!!!! It's too late I already ran the hell away from that murder zone. Lucky to still be alive! But if you guys want those guns be my guest, be warned it's a warzone out there.

I couldn't find a "fullscreen windowed" mode but you can set the resolution as high as you can go in the config screen and still just see the bar at the top. http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/69223-how-do-you-change-the-window-mode-resolution/

Go to Cherno or Elektro in the beginning. Both have docks that bug out the zombies. Run through the town like crazy looting what you can with all the zombies following you and head for the dock. They'll all get confused and usually end up in the water but they can't actually run on the dock. Then go back into the area where all the zombies were and loot more with less zombies around. Once you head up north you just need a revolver or m1911 and you can take them out with a single headshot. It's quiet enough to not alert too many other zombies. If you do, just go in a house and they'll slowly walk in allowing you to get more headshots. Sometimes I like to start off on night servers as you can sneak up right next to a zombie and he won't care. Great for silent axe kills you just need to turn your brightness/gamma up to see which is sometimes frowned upon (no different than using nightvision IMO)

If you got killed, why didn't the guy who killed you finish off your friend? Why not have your friend log out and you run up to him with medical supplies and have him log in so you can heal him? This situation sounds really fishy.

Eh if I die and lose it all I'd be upset but I'm not scared of it. I tend to favor 10-20 player servers (smaller target for hackers) and haven't run into another player in a few days now other than a RL friend I met up with today. I just found a jeep so at least now I can travel a bit quicker but I'm just not sure what to do next. I found a crash site, I got good gear, I found a ghillie suit, all that's left is to go back to Cherno or Elektro and own other players but I want to increase my karma not decrease it. Death seems like it might be the best thing for me so I won't mind risking my neck to help others.
