Maybe you could try using DayZ Commander? It's much better in my opinion.

I've been reading around the forums a bit, including the 'Urban Legends' thread. I've been thinking, that it would be an idea to add rare random encounters? Could be anything from a very deformed zombie (think Slenderman) to a burning forest (nevermind, realised that already exists). Sorry if it's been suggested before. Or if they already exist...

You CAN use the respawn button if you're fast enough. It lights up when you press esc, but quickly greys out. -

I was strutting around Prigorodky, and saw some random corpse laying on a dirt road. I went to check it out, and he was wearing a camo suit, had literally all tools, m249 saw, nv goggles, rangefinder, a ghillie package, etc. but no backpack. Could this have been a hacker? -
Armor values, hats and helmets (standalone, probably)

Might've been suggested before, but here goes. I think players should spawn with random everyday clothes, maybe no hats, and with no protection against damage. You should be able to find kevlar suits in military locations, with light damage protection values. Ghillie suits should also only have light protection, or none at all, and camo suits could have medium protection. I'd also like to see helmets being added as military/industrial loot, with some protection against bullets to the head and such, unless you're being shot with a big gun. As for hats, you should be able to find them in supermarkets, houses, and such. Maybe on hat stands? -

So I was riding a motorcycle on a server that was pretty much empty, and suddenly there's this satchel charge in the road, and then *boom*, and a guy in a ghillie comes looting me while I'm unconscious lol. -
