You do realize, it takes a ridiculously long time to dig through logs to get the relevant string of text he needs to justify a ban right? Admins can't just ban people without evidence, we have to abide by the rules. Hating on the server and admin when neither had anything to do with what happened seems pretty pointless when really you are mad at the hacker.

Most hackers also spawn crates of hacked weapons and hacked vehicles as well, its pretty standard procedure to restart/shut down the server as soon as you get evidence of a hacker so you can wipe the spawned in items out before someone finds them and abuses them. If you don't like the fact that guy is trying to help the community by nailing a hacker then don't play on his server, or on my server for the matter, as I'd do the same thing.

Admins do not have the power to kill you, except with bullets and hatchets like everyone else. Before you make accusations, try and educate yourself a little, read this post for some information on what admins can and cannot do.

This is a localized ban not a global one, so letting people know which server it was on would maybe help direct the relevant admin to the thread. Just sayin.

If they are spawning in weapons, why would they need to lock the server to get the items back? Also: "I heard from a friend" really doesn't hold much weight as evidence. If you truly believe they are doing this, get some screenshots and/or video of it, and they can be punished accordingly.

No, it's just a butthurt hacker. Just because something bad happened don't automatically assume admin. Admins do not have the ability to do these things.

You aren't supposed to ban for ping, just set a max ping like the rest of do.

Pretty sure you posted this in the wrong section, however, I suggest you read this before you continue as you should learn a few things about what admins can and cannot do. Sometimes a after a server crash tents/vehicles dont load in, and you need to restart it a time or two, instead of madposting on the forums, I would try getting in touch with the admin and seeing if they can restart the server so your things will load back in.

Um, what? I have nothing to do with this server, nor have I ever been on it, so how exactly did you see me breaking rules? I think you aimed your rage post at the wrong person buddy. My post was in regards to the OP accusing the hackers (obvious ones at that) of being admins, as I was providing a link to a list of what admins can and cannot do. Now there is a chance that the admins are also hackers, it's always a possibility, but why would they restart the server to get the helo back as that would wipe it from the server, all the hackers have to do is respawn it if they crashed it/got shot down, so this doesnt follow logic. It's obvious there was blatant hacking going on, there is no denying that with the video evidence of a venom shooting at people. If such a thing was flying around on my server I would restart it in a heartbeat as soon as I learned of it, I assume these admins would too. So, unless the names of the people that got killed in it were also the names of the server admins, I highly doubt they were one and the same.

Admins cannot spawn items in. The helicopter you encountered was a hacked one, restarting the server wipes it off the server. Learn your facts before making accusations, odds are the admins got a report of or saw the hacked vehicle flying around and did an emergency restart to despawn it along with whatever else the hackers spawned in. I've had to do it myself dozens of time. Please see this thread before making wild accusations next time and hopefully learn a thing or two. Hackers != Admins

Well, seeing as you haven't posted any evidence for the dev team to take action with, have you tried contacting the server admin(s) for that server? You're alot more likely to get a quick response from them, and they have access to the logs which could be used as evidence that can be given to the devs to get any offenders banned from the mod.

Seriously, it hasnt even been 20 minutes and you are bumping your thread? It's obvious you are mad at these dudes, thats fine, but there are rules about spamming and abusing the forums, being pissed off at someone doesnt make the rules not apply to you.

Thread after thread you'd think people would get it. Rocket has made it clear that he refuses to punish people for choosing one style of play over another. If you really have your heart set on reducing banditry, suggest ideas to encourage teamwork, not penalize playstyles.

Some people say the same about 3rd person. It's down to the server owners preference of realism. Just like with 3rd person/nametags/peripheral vision dots, nobody forces you to play on those servers, just play on one of the many hundreds of servers that dont have it enabled like the rest of us do with the preferences you like instead of running to the forums to cry about it. Side chat has been removed by default in the mission files, a small minority of admins have petitioned the developers to have it re-added to their servers though, it isn't actually against the rules unless the server owners modified thier mission file themselves.

You said it yourself, it's a new server. After our server was migrated we took it down at least a dozen times when we were tweaking config settings in the first day alone. The admin unless they actually saw you, have no way of knowing that you found and repaired a vehicle out in the middle of nowhere, if you save your vehicle often it will be where you last saved it after the restart is done, otherwise it will be wherever it was before that and it will look like someone has stolen it. There is no evidence in any form showing an abusive admin, it isn't like you killed him and took the car from him, THEN the server went down or anything obvious like that.

Strangers are threats, simple as that. If they don't kill you outright, they may do it later as they don't know you. Even then, they betray you without ever realizing it more often than not, simply because there is a good chance they will do something stupid and aggro zombies which can get you killed by virtue of zombies being zombies, or by leading someone else to you that spots the agitated zombies. It's about taking care of threats, present and future. It's best to get the threat out of the way early then wait until a critical moment. Also, lol raging on bandits in our own section.
