Yeah, hes calmed down alot since the initial post, and even removed the swearing in the title. It was actually only three of us, but two were indeed admins (Tony and I), and yeah the logs show all the relevant information which we checked and double checked during the time we were waiting. Both parties have made peace with that fact as far as I know. Hi Armyknife, good to see you bud. Shame you missed the best ban ever a few months back when there was still side chat and we had tags enabled. Tony killed a guy in electro with an enfield, found a bunch of helo loot on him (this was back when the helicopters didnt drop loot), and ran north hill out of town to where I was. Then proceeded to say something like "Wow, guy in electro, im looking at all this stuff on your body, and I cant believe you brought it here" the guy apparently was apparently mad, because he then spawned a jet and flew it over electro and bombed the place and was turning around for a second pass going north south over where Tony and I were, Thankfully, tags were on, and we got his name and I banned him in mid air, then the jet floated down slowly and peacefully into the ocean. Server was restarted, cheers where had from the people, it was a good day. Sadly hackers are getting less obvious and don't make it as easy for us. Last weekend for example I spent 6-8 hours digging through logs just for one incident.

Of course you were on the server when we kicked you, that doesn't change the fact where you shot at at Russian Pony, and logged out when we started shooting back. That classifies as combat. Then, after 10 minutes of waiting, when we finally were giving up, you logged back in, and shot me while I was alt tabbing to ban you,(which wasn't a big deal until I found out Russian Pony drank my Mt Dew, I may have called him unkind things). Yeah as soon as we found out we did an emergency server restart, still digging through logs atm.Not sure about your friends computer restart though that's a new one.

Logs are amazing things. I'm actually hoping one of the devs cares enough to look into it, because they show you combat logging. We let Tony drive, it was nearly a fatal mistake, thankfully it only cost us the right wheels, and some scrap metal. Again, see logs comment above for response Well we didn't exactly pick that place to crash, also the zombie towing company wasn't answering our phone call.

Actually, we were fixing up the UAZ that Tony drove into a tree a few minutes before. But, I digress, you we're banned for combat logging, which is listed by rocket as an exploit. I'm not sure what hacked crap you're accusing us of having, Anyway, I do appreciate you letting us know where the camps with the duped hacked items are so we can go destroy them. We've spent the last week trying to stamp them out after we caught the group that was doing it. You should also know, that it was I that warned you about duping that hacked m4 holo with silencer and grenade launcher yesterday that we caught you duping.

Many (read: nearly all) Admins have jobs/other real life commitments, and are not around to monitor the game 24/7, even with a multi member admin team, gaps in babysitting coverage happen. Just because some hacker got mad and went nuts on the server doesn't mean the admins are in league with them. Most of the time, there is a way to contact an admin in the servers MOTD, if you see someone hacking get a hold of them and they can take the appropriate measures to catch and ban the party responsible. They cant always be logged into the console watching every second of every day, sometimes you need to spend time with family/loved ones, eat, sleep, walk the dog, whatever. By playing on that server, you become a member of its community, that makes it also your responsibility to safeguard it. Most admins are very active within their regular player community, I've lost track of the times players on my server send me a message to let me know there is a hacker flying in a jet/teleporting/spawning items/ect so that I or another admin can step in and handle the issue ASAP. Did you even take the time to check with them before writing this post attacking them? Accusing the admins of just "letting it happen, and therefore that makes them guilty as well" is just plain asinine. The poor guys most likely didn't even know as they were probably at work making money to pay for the server you were playing on.

It really isn't, just host your own if it's such a big deal.

Did you actually pay anything to warrant a refund? Last I checked the mod was free of charge. Back on topic though, it's actually almost frequent for vehicles not to load in with the server after a crash/restart, it just means the server needs to be restarted again and that pretty much fixes it.

"Might not?" What part of Admins DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO DO THIS, are you not getting? Odds are, if hacks were really involved it was most likely the guy you killed who got mad and wanted revenge. What proof/evidence do you have that it was the admin of that server and not just some butthurt hacker out for revenge?

If you were truly sorry, you would have read the stickies telling you not to post your global ban appeal here.

So, if you are mad at hackers, why was your original post aimed at bandits? I don't get this thread.

Nobody makes you play on 3rd person enabled servers, there are plenty of servers that have it forced off. I don't get the issue, play on servers that meet the needs to make you happy, why force yourself into a situation where everyone is going to be a "cheating douchebag" which is just going to make you angry/irate/upset if you don't have to.

Oh look this thread again. Remember boys and girls, in the sitcky in this section, the one labeled " Please read BEFORE posting" it tells you to use the search function before making a new thread. If you (the OP) followed the rules you would see far too many copies of this exact thread, and all of them are more or less beaten to death and abused in the same way, Rocket has said no to classes, he has no plans or desires to implement them, it is up to the players themselves to define their roles, not forced game mechanics.

This is partially incorrect, while you can temporarily store backpacks with items in a tent/vehicle, when a server restarts or crashes, all items inside the backpack are lost. So yes you CAN theoretically have several backpacks loaded with items in a tent, but for no more than a few hours, as most servers are reset every 4-6 for stability. I wouldn't mind seeing the tents autosave in some form or another though, as that would indeed prevent/reduce a lot of the duping issues.

At the current time, the guns only reload after a server restart. So, yeah adding a way to refill them between those 4-6 hour increments (depends on the server you play on) would be kinda nice.
