Unless your CD Key changed (You bought a new copy of arma) your character Data and such should stick.

if there server doesn't backup there database properly it very possible for vehicles and characters to be reset, how ever it doesn't have to happen, it can be prevented.

Having a custom face shouldn't cause any issues with DzCommander, however you will get kicked from alot of servers if you have an imported face, so bare that in mind. (You will get a message saying face.jpg is too big or something along them lines) If you have followed the above and are still having no luck try the following: 1) Anti-virus / Malware: Make sure non of your antiviurs softwares are infracting with DZC, did you install anything recently that you think might be causing it? Things like malware bytes have been known to cause DZC issues, if that is the case try and either whitelist dayz commander in the softwares that are causing the issue, or temp uninstall them. 2) Net Framework: Now this one is very unlikely, but ive seen it fix this problem before, so make sure your up-to-date with the following version: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=30653 3) Administrator: Make sure you are running DZC in administrator mode, you can permanently turn this on by right clicking DZC / Properties / compatibility / and check "run this program as an administrator". 4) Uninstalls: So there are two things you can try here, find the mod thats causing the download issue, and simply uninstall it via its directory, in this case "@DayZ", reboot commander and try again. Or you can uninstall commander, re-download and try again, there are some tutorials about how to completely uninstall its cache and what not. For reference on the dayz uninstall, here are the directories: Steam: (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead) (I actually just forgot the disc version, if you do have a disc copy and cant find your directory let me know and ill try dig it up) Hopes this helps. -D7

The way the skalisity bridge is constructed is by stringing together a bunch of peir blocks, (what the warfs are made out of). So basically its a bunch of these stuck together: Depending on how the server spawns them in can depend how buggy they are, bridges in general in arma 2 are buggy, so user made ones are generally problematic.

Maybe try deleting you "@DayZ" from your arma 2 OA folder and try re-installing from there. I need to brush up on my playwithsix bugs, so if that issues persists id recommend either a direct download or use dayz commander.

as far as im aware that should be fine, the only thing you need to bare in mind is if you upload the mission, in Addons []; (in your mission file) it might say something to do with the jon c5 mod, just remove it and you should be good to go. but like i say as far as im aware it shouldn't cause any problems. Best way to find out is to try it, if you do run into issues post on here and ill go through it =)

Connection failed is kind of a big one. It could be done, but it would be buggy and as was prior stated, unrealistic. And correct you do need permission to use DayZ Code, but as far as im aware its only if you wish to publish a mod or something.

Hello there. Flux pretty much hit the nail on the head with that one, its usually to do with the beta patch. Firstly make sure your you are on beta patch "103718" then try the following settings: (Bare in mind your interface res should be what ever your desktop is, and then your 3d res should match that.) If when these settings are applied it sorts out your issue, increase the texture detail setting. if your issues persists let me know.

It was definatly a huge problem awhile ago, but more people in the community have started to dedicate time to making anti cheats to stop hacking. So in answer to your question, there is always going to be loop holes, however i havnt encountered a hacker in a long while.

Here is the one i use on my main hive server. At the bottom of your init.sqf or init2.sqf at the bottom add this: [] execVM "Debug.sqf";then make a file in your mission pbo and call it "debug.sqf". Do you have arma on steam? if so verify your system cache. arma 2 oa / properties / local files / verify ect ect...
