unlikely, aslong as your both using separate copies of arma 2 and your both using separate steam accounts, it should be fine, if you both join different servers does it work?

and no error message appears on your screen, you just get returned to the main menu? and when your brother is ingame, nothing comes up at the bottom left when your getting kicked?

if your getting "you where kicked off the game" at the bottom left of his screen it will usually give an error message saying why that person was kicked (in this case that person is you), when it disconnects you, what error are you getting?

what is the kick message? and if its just "you where kicked off the game" does your brother see an error message in-game?

once you have done that, tick both the steam options and make sure arma 2 oa beta is installed on steam, if you do all that and still get the error post back here =)

i wouldn't recommend recording in windowed mode as it drops FPS, what are you recording with?

thats kinda weird. im a little ill so i might be missing the obvious here, but if your getting stuck on wait for host, and you cant install the beta patch, id put a ticket through to villayer and get them to fix it for you. -

i just go to the main menu, hit "ctrl + e" and load chernarus, give that a try instead, also you have tried this on multiple servers right? -

if you go into your log viewer, and find "arma2oaserver.rpt" it will tell you any errors that are occuring, take a look in there and see if anything is missing, -

Hello there, you will most likely just need to change your server name, go into your admin pannel, then hit "configuration files" in there edit your "server.cfg" to have the new version name. if your still having trouble just post back on this thread. -
as far as im aware, its not possible to hide yourself from a player list, but who knows. Id say its more than likely just a small error on dart's side, no Rcon is bullet proof and sometimes people will slip through the cracks.

i found mine up in a supermarket, had a wonderful time up at guba. was disappointed to find out i couldn't fish out of a biplane though, dammit razor. any who if you dont find one in the next say... 45 mins? ill give you mine, i have a heli so i can drop it off. Good luck!
