as far as im aware it is still around, but its kind of a fix too, i mean the fact that stuff in backpacks dosent take tent space is a bug in itself.

Any way, this means you still have vanilla dayz enabled, you can disable them using the beta patch, in the expansions section of the front page in arma 2 oa.

Some servers have them permanently on, only advice i can give would be not to play them servers, if it is permanently on and docent fade, there is no way to remove it, this is on non official servers of course.

Well, No offence, but your wrong about the last part, there are measures you can take to avoid the suicide satchel method you say there adopting. Apart from that TMW is the same, you don't have to follow our guidelines but they are highly recommended, and most medics and bodyguards do so.
