Thats really not the case, some people will grief, you will find that everywhere, but there are alot of people out there that do not have interest in that, for example the group im in TMW focus on helping people and having fun, banditry simply isnt our way, dont drop the game because of some bad side chat incidents, this is seriously the best game ive played and i stand by that, i would give the game a little more chance before dropping it. also check the link in my sig, you might find what we do interesting. any way im off to bed 4:30am is my bed time it seems. night all

There is no offline mode no, but the thing that makes dayz what it is are the other players, or other players helping you out for that matter. but no you cannot have offline mode servers.

We at the trusted medics actually have a training program for new players if your interested? that error shouldn't stop you from playing, i get that and then the game just launches. are you getting any other errors?

The save function was kind of a fix, the point of it is a manual way of saving to prevent vehicles roll backs, or tents, i just make a habbit of saving before logging off.

go ahead and get Norton to white list it, if not just disable Norton while you install, commander is your best bet to get the game running,

out of curiosity, what arma 2 beta patch you running?

i believe you can run it on ARMA 2 Lite, but some of the textures are abit poop. (i doubt i am but sorry if im breaking any rules by posting that.)

Looks awesome, i would heavily recommend this to any new players reading this, its worth taking the time to get whitelisted, BB is a really good community and there servers are alot of fun.

Oops a little late on the update. Patient healed, i actually got help from a freelancer that is new to the game called "Nipernaadi" (Sorry bud cant find a link to your forum profile) so thanks for that. And thanks patient for not shooting me in the back, happy travels!

try running the game via the beta patch and just have dayz running, aslong as no other mods are enabled you shouldnt have an issues. incase you dont know how to run via beta patch. Go to your steam directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead) and run "Arma 2 OA Beta Patch". It will most likely throw you into the main menu of arrowhead with no mods, at this point go ahead and head to "expansions" at the bottom and double click and enable "arma 2 mod : Dayz" (something like that). at this point it will prompt you to restart, go ahead and do that and then once the reboot of your game is done try and join a server and see what happens. ill follow this thread to see if you get any progress. EDIT: What steak said is a good point tbh, make sure your running commander over other launchers.
