Nevermind, ignore post.

Whenever I run, whether its day or night, sometimes the light level will change and it will get darker for about 10-15 seconds and then it will fade back in. If its dark and im using a flare, it will sometimes go pitch black and then I have to stop and wait 10 seconds and it will slowly fade back in. Ive tried messing with my video HDR settings but nothing has changed it. Can anyone help me?

Date/Time: (not sure - date when gender selection was first implemented) What happened: I clicked "female" to make my character a female, knowing it is only a 1 time change. Then, the server got stuck in an infinite loading/receiving data and I had to alt+F4 to close the game. Upon rejoining another server, it appeared that my choice did not save and I am a male character. Where you were: Server loading screen Can an admin/dev please address this? Is it possible to change my character? I know its only a 1 time change but I knew that and intended to make my character a female in the first place. Im upset that because of the bug I'm permanently set to a character I do not prefer. Thanks! :heart:

NO I think only the ammo count should be reduced. Regardless of the change, it could be a veteran/expert server only option.

I have the amazon install, try copy and pasting mine exactly into steam: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2OA.exe" -mod=@dayz -nosplash

So does anyone have a solution for this? When its dark it gets too black for like 10 seconds often, and during the day it sort of flickers and it really annoying, and it interrupts gameplay a lot..does anyone have any ideas?

I had the connection failed message from the amazon install and had to download the latest patch from the website.

No, its definitely a bug and there is something wrong. I turned off post processing and it doesnt help. Even during the day there is a flicker to the light when im running.
