Too bad my father is too old and too invalid to play games, but gonna introduce my son to gaming as soon as he crawls out of her mother.

Nothing against you personally, but it gets me every time when people here says "this is what I would do in a "real" zombie apocalypse". There's no way actually knowing, who could survive something like that, but video games aren't something that train you for it. Just being realistic, my guess is that 90% of gamer's, will not be around to tell the tales of a real zombie apocalypse. Have you ever really killed someone? Heard that even an accident can mess you really bad. Shooting pixels is easy, shooting someone who is looking you in the eyes, is a whole different scenario. No need to answer, just my opinions. But... enough about that, lets just enjoy the game playing it the way we enjoy.

Have you considered that in real zombie apocalypse you might be the first ones to bite the dust? no respawns.

Same for me, except I dont shoot even bandits on sight, only wookies with scoped rifles. And I'm no hero, if I need to kill someone to survive, I will do it, even if its just for beans to satisfy my bleeding hunger.

Upgrade might be what you need, new motherboard, cpu and memory, if you plan on pc gaming, getting new cpu for that old motherboard, would be just postponing inevitable. And your cpu socket is lga775? I would not get new cpu on that. And would be wise to just go with ddr3.

I'm getting 7.1 headset for this reason. I'm little annoyed by the zombies, with my current headset, theres no telling where they are. Sure its lame that have to upgrade, but I think better headset can be worth it for the future games too. Screen indications, that are in every other shooter, are what I do not wish for.

NVG and scopes should not be able to use together. And if night vision scope would be attachment, it should only be 4x scope at max, or maybe even just 1x like we had in the army. Dont know if there even is a long range night vision scope.

This thread is full of win. Lootz are just bits and bytes, pixels in your screen, line of code. If I want to play for lootz, I play WOW. If I want to play deathmatch with zombies, I play Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. And alt + f4 is for pussies, same as kill on sight, neither requires any effort on your behalf.

I have played so many deathmatch games, so trying my best to avoid conflict is a challenge, and makes the game more interesting. I wander aimlessly, from one interesting looking location to another, trying to find that one rare thing, called a friendly player. I only make exceptions on wookies with sniper rifles, I hate those things, quick kill and bury.

Maybe if you killed unarmed, or a man who has his weapon lowered, then you would get bandit points. Though that would still leave the snipers and backstabbers, cant think of anything that couldnt be exploied one way or another.

Only thing you should be spawned with is pockets full of dreams.

Only improvement this game (mod) requires, is a lot more zombies, 3-4 times more than currently, more dangerous and durable. But most of the improvements and fixes cant be done yet, because of arma 2. So I would just wait for the stand alone.
