Its seems like there is way too much high grade loot atm, from bullets to guns. I think much will change after they get loot system right and cooking etc equipment working... atm you just stuff your inventory full of food and ammo and meds.. just like in the mod. Also when servers arent restarting every 2-4 hours and people server hopping for loot it will get better.

Same with the quickbar, to me the container looses some of its purpose when you still can bind the bandage to quickbar without opening the medkit to use it.. I agree and would be ok to make it at least equal slots in it to what it takes (4/4), protect the items from damage but you should have to upen the case/kit to use something from it. ie. select bandage from quickbar (its in the medkit) character takes medkit in hand. takes bandage in hand and drops medkit to the ground use bandage. After this you manually put the bandage back to the kit and take it with you.

Stuck in geometry - how to start with a new character?

I bugged through a door in one of the "TEC" buildings, was running the 1st floor hallway against the wall and clipped through a door that you cant open and got stuck in that room... no change of getting out. There was windows tho so my friend could fire my brains out so I can start new character.. So just wait untill unconscious or dead and respawn. -
If I need to take one or two shots and have change/time after that I eject the rounds and load full clip in it after that to have full mag again.

Its not, you can only carry axe(or similar) and one weapon in your back. Maximum that you can do is axe, weapon in your back and one in your hand, but you have to drop the one in your hand when you want to use something else.. even to eat something.

So bad that my head hurts, you seems to want this to be one more kos pvp fight fest... hiding gear near the beach when you respawn?? really, camon man. There is plenty of other titles for you to play it seems. They will do something to store gear, but they has to do something to it that you just cant run and regear from your self. period.

I think they should remove those bases or dial town the rate it spawn good loot... its one big m4 fest around these servers.

Not really, I bet my ass that duct tape will hold flashlight on the gun... You are not really going to shoot it so much that heat will be a problem very soon.. also the vibration is nothing if there is more than 2 rounds of tape.. :D Littlebit offtopic, Has anyone figured out how to use the tactical flashligh, do you need rail or something to the gun? -
I agree, I have no idea why would you have paid something year ago... regarding the standalone at least. Or are you one of these "I paid for the arma2(mod), give mee dayz sa free" type of guys. ...otherwise you got scammed. Also it have been said from the start or very beginning at least that they wanted to do a "soft start" without huge player rush, so they release it in quiet.

Control issues (Regarding mouse sensitivity)

Its more or less Arma thing, I find it ok... I dont need to do 180noScopeLeetMoves so, I quite much like it. Also it makes handling more "authentic" as you cant do so amazing snapshots but you actually need to aim a little, maybe its there to simulate gun weight etc, sure they could limit the char turning speed and make the acceleration etc linear, to prevent bunnyhopping380noscopes... But from these two I would prefer present. -
My concerne about the dead upon disconnecting while restrained or unconcious is about server/connection performance. I have had few drop outs, would be annoying to start over everytime this happens. What about server restarts, will it make you dead too? Should add notice about the reboot for the servers.

1. Its not like Im gonna hold the can on my knee while I smash it with a knife? No hurting please. But change of breaking the knife, ok.(depending of the condition) - If I had no bandages I would take extra cautions to not hurt myself, I wouldnt like if games RNG decided it time to loose a finger. 2. Infection/contamination rate/change shoudnt be tied to item condition, any item should have value for infected of not. Thats why we have desinfected spray. 3. agreed.. except if its an axe, wont take long... the amount of food slashing on the walls could be adjusted. 4. No, if item is not desinfected it should have change of being infected. -> There should be change(depends the item condition) of food being already spoiled if the container is damaged (ie, damaged 20%, badly damaged 45%, ruined 75%) Any item should have value of infected or not, that would determine the change of infecting something else... could be can your opening or the other items in the same clothing/backpack.

No regular mmorpg shit! Kill 3 zombies, drink from canteen, find pair of boots -> Gain 5 points to add skill/stat of your choosing! or anything similar. ... This has been discussed alot and Dean himself has said his toughts about this. They will do something at some point, but its like 3 days in alpha and there is alot more important things to fix. You shoudnt be able to choose baseskill or what ever, but your skill would increase by doing. ie. run alot, gain stamina. Also it should be tied to various aspects to prevent statpadding and suchs. Every character has aspects A,B,C,D and so on, they have max value and min value. Value increases with the amount that person is doing something, rate that something increases varies between aspects. Also if something is not done for a long time, it would start loosing its value. So there would be no fixed numbers. Something like %-rolls could be done too.. ie someone that has done alot of poking with needles has lower change of hurting the other. Opening alot cans with an axe increases the % food from it over time. Woudnt be OP or "unrealistic" if tweaked right. -

Lets just let them fix fiw things first that are in hand now and then move another, turn up the zeds when they are properly done and lets see what bugs we have from them to fix? I prefer to play game that has working basic funtions and few working features rather than ton of unworking features. Also its easyer to rollback when you make changes if your last build was working ok and you broke something. And not working million things that everything affects everything.. -
lack of loot?! few hours played (after the wipe) and already have m4, mosin, pistol, vest, camogear, meds, plenty of food.... I think there is way too much m4's and shit, have seen like 5. hint: do not remove bullets from the magazine if its on the ground or somewhere else but not on you... have lost like 100 rounds like that, before I realized that its not going to work.
