Maybe there had been more to play at this stage if you had stick with the high pop server(full). Its not like you could walk to any military location not expecting company.. ofc there is not much to play if you go non pop server and gear up, thats it at this stage of the alpha. And if you die that much, you are not carefull enough when looting places(doing it wrong). Also switching server inside of military zone, bad idea to start with.

Its funny that people straight assume someone is cheating when they get killed or what ever... specially in early alpha. There is alot of known bugs and clitches that may appear to be cheating but its not..

Its shoudnt.. if it would larger mag should bring stability due the added mass, not the smaller one... and the added or lost stability that you would gain with mag change would be really.. really minor.

Also its not ment to be quaranteed loot everywere you go, that would just be stupid. If you have to run 2 hours somewhere doesnt make it must to spawn loot... I havent played yet after the new patch, have they adjusted other spawnrates?

Well maybe its littlebit over the top, at least would be nice to see it while jogging... I can pull my arms up while jogging to look stuff..

Dont really care, useless stuff. If had to pick it would be no, just because those are for casual games. Well dont really care about them with anygame, just annoying steam popups before you turn them off.

Thats honestly a good idea, tie the loot cycle to active characters on the said server. No more server hopping, with some "cooldown" (10mins etc) between disconnecting and joining a server again would be fine. Should not be a problem for legitimate players, if somene has so bad connection that it comes a problem.. its not our problem, or the devs for that matter.

None is removing chat function, the global chat was not for this game anyway... doesnt matter who, how and what is what. Direct chat is to stay, people that need global chat will find other ways.. some use ts/mumble/vent, those who cant use alternative which is steam etc chat. Its no biggie. People must realize that you cannot think every people with their issues when you do or design something, always has to see the bigger picture. Maybe they can enable "global chat" to go through steam friend in the same server if they must, then it woudnt hurt other peoples experience. But they cant do something if 0.5% of the people need something, doesnt matter what the problem is.. hearing, seeing etc... its harsh but it is what it is.

You wont be able to stick that in your backpack its too large, only way to carry it is in your hand or on your back. In both cases you could carry the gun aswell while able to use it. Only usage for this would be the protective element, nothing else. In gameplay aspect it could provide space to carry 2 guns rather than 1 mele and 1 gun. Yes not authentic as you could carry x amount of firearms shouldered etc IRL... but game has to be balanced. I would be ok to swap melee for gunbag/case even if Im not able to use if before I take it out from it, empty bag should go in the backpack but not the case, its just too bulky and large... both could have differend protection values. Everything combinet with weight system to be added... take your pick.

I was fairly freshspawn... Axe, mask, backpack and some basic stuff. Runnin around ?kamenka? and there was 1 another freshpawn with no gear what so ever, we were just looting around no problems there... I started to run direction of the gas station/supermarket on the far west. Heard people talking through voip and turned around, at this point I was some 50-100 meter away from the city edge that I could barely hear them, coudnt make out what they talked tho. Soon I see 2 freshspawn running from the city, one was the guy I had met earlier so tought they are cool. Asked through voip if they needed something and stated that Im friend but I gues they didnt care as no reply yet they just talked each other earlier... saw their fists rise and they start to sprint around me swinning their fists. I sprinted and took my axe out... after that they died, I bandaged and eat an fresh apple while watching their bodies lay on the tarmac.

True that I only tied it once(several shots), didnt bother after that because it hit the ground. I was on the downhill prone in open field while it happened, so shoudnt be a problem in the scenery. Tried shooting zeds from far city but had to do it from the knee.

Make it simple. 2 hives, 1st person only and 3th person enabled. I know Im first in the "1st person only" one.

Soooooo you didnt follow the internetz at all before buying the game, congraz. Not anyone else but your own fault to be disapointed. Worse inventory system than in the mod, gotta be joking right? Sure there is some spots you are unable to pick up something, or its impossible but that doesnt say anything about the system it self yet... someone reaks ignorance.

Added mass brings stability, its all about the persons physics what the weight does. The point when there is too much weight is when you cant hold your gun up reguired amounts of time because your arms are too weak. With less the weight its easyer the shaking of your hands etc affects your aim but weapon handling comes more fluid and easy..so less weight in most cases is better in CQ combat. But ingame I dont think its makes difference in any direction, always had it in my mosin and can shoot fine to 300m without proning.. and yes there is a bug that you shoot the ground when prone with bipod.

Why do you think they are, imo only because the night time playing is paint atm for various reasons. If they fix those I think night time will come more popular. Also when the zeds are done and configured for night (ie mod behaviour), I would prefer the night. I agree with people saying that "standard" server should be with public hive and if you wanna make that "24/7 day, 100 choppers, spawn with DMR, +100 military spawns" server then its on its own database to not fukup the others gameplay. What comes to the timezone thing, its is complicated. I would be pleased with fixed timezone and shorter night/day cycle that people are forced to play in changing conditions. Not minecraft cycle tho... I think this game than take shorter cycle with ease without loosing any immersion or suchs. Even 4h day/night cycle could work on countering the fact that your char is able to run non stop around chernarus 24/7... scale the differens lets say. Im waiting for the day that you can see day,night, cold, rain etc with their unique gameplay aspects.
