Got no love for the East coast?

Hey guys, Got an email from ViLayer saying that updating my servers to 1.7.2.5 + Aram 96061 will help prevent a lot of the things hackers can do like creating items and vehicles. I'm just wondering if I can apply the new Arma2 patch and keep my server at .2.4 as I don't care to play this game if I can't save items, vehicles etc. Will this still provide the updated security if my DayZ is an old version but my Arma2 is up to date?

Hey guys, New server admin here. I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any tips on analyzing the .log files. I downloaded CheatFinder to parse them but I don't really know what I'm looking for. After I ran my my createvehicle.log file through CheatFinder it flagged a few things.. a lot of them were repeats of the following items and I'm wondering if this is normal CZ_VestPouch_EP1 PipeBomb SmokeShell SmokeShellRed I'm thinking these are just normal occurances and they're not something I should be concerned about but I wanted to run it by some people who would know more. Any general tips about how these logs work and what should raise a red flag for me would be greatly appreciated.
