Are you running the latest dayz update? I know they fixed vehicle and tent saves in 1.7.2.6

I would have to agree with the notion of adding more elements of survival to the game because in theory, all you need is: a bottle of water, matches, a hunting knife, a hatchet and some wood. After that there isn't anything other than interact with other survivors.

I've been trying to play dayz for awhile and every server I join kicks me after 30 seconds or so. I can visibly see that my battleye is version 1.62 and all the servers are running 1.62.9 and my battleye won't update to the next version. I've tried reinstalling and googled some fixes for it but I didn't get anything helpful. Can someone throw me a bone here?

This happened in miami right after the cannibal attacks too. This guy almost got killed.

I went on a server today, US 105 and it's admin (whose name I will withhold) had enabled side chat. I asked how he did it and he said it was a server option to have it on. I played on the server for a few hours before I lagged out and it was nice to just talk to people. But I digress-I thought side chat was disabled for all servers and if this one could have side chat, why not all servers?

I've never heard of this problem... I find it difficult to riot with one person. Good luck with that.

There is some good in dayz still and nice to see the video. Last night I was playing on US1313 and the server got nuked from a hacker. I was able to get my equipment back easily as I was on the coast and I helped another guy get an ak-74 from balota and I gave him a transfusion and we went our separate ways. It is a nice change of pace to meet good people.

With dayz commander check under "versions" to make sure that they are all up to date and join servers compatible with your version. Other than that I can't offer other advice. Good luck.

My hands down favorite experience is when I first got a cz550. I felt like some kind of badass being able to see other players at great distances and they had no clue I was even there. I joined a near full server to see if I could see anyone outside of prigrigori and low and behold, there was an off road truck parked outside of the city. I decided the owner was either in the town or on his way to get it when a black SUV rolled in and dropped a guy off to drive it to whereverville. My heart was pounding and I took the shot on the guy in the truck and I nailed him at least once. He jumped out of the truck bleeding from three holes into his body but he took cover behind a huge tree and I couldn't see him anymore and I could tell he didn't die because I was watching the lower half of my screen for it. I then scan the area around me and the SUV somehow was 20 meters behind me and made no noise whatsoever as it saw me and ran me over. I had a huge laugh about it and was enthralled about my first sniping experience albeit it lasted no more than two minutes.

Thank you. I got butthurt a few times when I got sniped or killed by players in some fashion, then I realized this. It's just a game and it should be a fun experience, and raging at hackers and bandits gets you nowhere. So just have a laugh and enjoy gearing up again because to me, that's my favorite part; finding the loot and the possibilities that are there.

To me shooting that guy was justified because he didn't lie down and he was having some animation like he was pulling something out. Also with their gear at the level they are at, I wouldn't take the chance of some noob capping me in the ass with a makarov and taking my SAW. No beans awarded or taken; just another day in dayz.
