Hello guys, I just finish downloading DayZ Standalone and when I load the game I get a blackscreen. I can see the ingame mouse ONLY and I can hear the sound, but no picture just a blackscreen. Please can someone help me :( I want to play waaaaaw :( Really appreciated if someone can help me out here :(

should I follow the road to be safe? will i lead somewhere good if I follow the roads and no walking in the fields?

Ok I'm a new player. So basically every time I spawn I'm in middle of nowhere. I have no clue what location I am, so how the hell do I know where to go etc? I had a map once and I have no clue where I am located at. It dosent even say where you are in the map. Am I missing something here? Can someone guide me? Thank you :(

DOes anyone know the controls? I cant seem to fly it me and 3 freinds found a heli and we cant fly it what are the control? really appreciated ;)

This is probably the dumbest question of all time. How do you use the MAP? I know you press 'M' but after that I only see like 30% of the map as far as I know. When I try to move it it takes so slow to creep up and down on the map. When I say slow I mean slow as fuck! What am I missing? Keyboard keys I need to know? Everytime I find a map I always wanted to go to high traffic areas such as the air field, but of course I can't because I don't know how to use the fucking map :( I'm such a retard :( Help appreciated :) EDIT - I'm really new to dayz.
