Just a bit of follow-up: I asked a friend to come kill me to fix this, and logged in to wait for him. It took him a few minutes longer to login (less than five). Right before he got on, I suddenly got kicked from the server (not a Battleye kick, it just said something to the effect "You have been kicked."). When I logged back in, I was back to normal (in the same place, all my gear, back on my feet).

This just happened to me, too. Logged into a server, was greeted with a message in the lower left saying my character was killed immediately but I had 12K health. Now when I log into any server, I immediately collapse to the ground, and have very limited options (can open gear and drink/eat, but not much else). Is the only solution to get a friend to kill my character?

This just happened to me, too (same server even). I aborted immediately, logged into a different server, and I was still midair. I tried to time it to disconnect right before I hit the ground but mistimed it and died. At the very least, if this kind of hack can't be stopped, can our elevation be reset to 0 on login so we can abort when this happens?
