Going Unconscious upon entering a server (not in shock)
Yellowbeard replied to Epsilon 349's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Posted this on a different thread, then saw this was where all the action seems to be. Server: US1898 I am having a similar problem, to wit: Last night I was playing on a server and had some glitchiness with my computer. The game froze and closed. I logged back in and had about a 3 minute hour glass of unconsciousness. Waited it out and got up, continued playing, logged out as normal. This afternoon when I logged in to the same server, same 3 minute hour glass. I wasn't in shock when I logged out - just normal. Wondering what gives. ***UPDATE*** Decided to test a bit. Went to a safe place in the woods, logged out, logged back in to the SAME server. Same thing - hour glass for no reason. Seems a bit... problematic. ***UPDATE 2*** Tried a different server, no unconscious timer. May be just a problem with US1898. -

Several friends and I have had this happen. Here's the story: We were trying to log in to a server. We got past the lobby and into the loading screen. This screen then hung and we were stuck, unable to move forward into the server. We waited about 5 minutes. Finally, I alt-tabbed out and hit the X on the window to close DayZ; friends followed suit. The next server login was successful, but we had all been teleported to the coast (irritating, as we had been playing together). I am fairly certain that this has to do with the (admirable) attempted fix of alt+F4. However, it seems a bit unfair for players trying to get onto a server that hangs to be teleported when they aren't doing anything nefarious. Not sure how it could be fixed, but thought I would report it.

Server Name: US 1767 NY IP 108.61.60.66 port 2302 (Your) Timezone: Central Date/Time: 8/5/12 - 2:05 Server Administrator('s): SAdraGoons What happened: Several friends and I were teleported extremely high in the air (apparently this happened to everyone on the server) and miles away. When I saw the "too the moon, Alice" message, I logged off. When I logged into another server, I fell to my death. Same thing happened to the other people I know. Evidence/Proof: I didn't think to take a screenshot so, unfortunately, I have no proof of this. However, this seems to be happening to others.
