So, this new zombie game got released in alpha yesterday..

is the fact it will be running on what is essentially the same engine as arma 2 that means it will more than likely still have the horrendous positive/negative mouse acceleration, not having 1:1 mouse movement is pretty game breaking to me now ppl who don't have a clue what they are talking about will say " duh you can turn off mouse smoothing" etc etc, please don't post if you don't know what your talking about this is a major engine bug that has never been fixed if i can get guarantees from the development team that this is fixed i will buy it in a heart beat, is there anything that will stop anyone else buying it? -

seems alot of ppl here don't know what positive/negative mouse accleration actually is, and how arma controls have both of these, 1 on each axis basically it's not 1:1 mouse movement -

"If you got sniped off from a bandit you obviously didn't scout the area or take extra precaution upon entering the area." i have to disagree with that bit scouting an area is one thing but someone in a bush with a scope can scout and shoot much further than you scoped weapons should be the holy grail and very rare, sniping goes against the gritty in your face tension of meeting other players in the world, whether it be a friendly encounter or a firefight -

i like the arma 2 games alot but 1 thing that drags the experience downs a huge chunk is the mouse controls negative acceleration/ positive acceleration different sensitivities for y and x axis input lag for up and down movement but not side to side before anyone says it's to simiulate weight it's not, thatr's horseshit because if you turn in game sens up then you can still turn round in an instant but can't fine aim i've always wondered how deep this problem is in the game and if it can be fixed bf3 had negative mouse acceleration on launch and i started a thread on battlelog with over 1000 posts screaming for it to be fixed and it got patched pretty quickly which makes me wonder if it is fixable in arma 2, i'd like rockets expert opinion after dealing with the code thanks

i'd agree with this personally i'd hate to see this as the spark that starts companies making terms of services on mod tools that meant the mods would cost and profit the original publisher i think the reason it is so popular now is because it's a mod and not a purchasable game, i don't think you'd even get near 1/4 of the players -
