If servers are down, then you just dont see it in serverlist. =) still you can launch the game client as usual.

Well, the "waiting" is over for me. Cause in about ten minutes from now the door will be opened... and the loud voice will say "Honey, I'm home! Are you sitting in front of yor comp again?!". Good luck, guys! =) ___ oh! the servers are up. =) too late for me)
