soo.. This is going to be a long story, prepare yourself ^^ Me and a friend where playing on a German server, because our (new) home server was on night and we both just died, and where a huge distance apart.. as we both enter elektra, we decided to meet at the church. I was allready inside, camping the door and he had to come. as I wait, I hear something from the west.. I tell him to be carefully and right as the words pass my lips, I see a camo-guy on a quad.. my friend panics and shoots him from the quad. both very confused, wether to be happy with the quad, or sad with the kill, we decide to loot the guy and take off with the quad. but right as he jumps on the quad when I was about to quick-loot him, we both get shot. he dies immediately, but I go KO. so when my timer is about half, the killer shows up, and starts looting his presumable friend, my friend and tries to loot me. he then picks me up, draws me to some corner, and shoots me together with some Z's. As we both respawn, we are close to elektra, so we go back. my friend spots the quad, but also a small red car. he takes the car, and drives to me. right as he stops, he gets killed again (pray-shot with SVD camo). the killer turns out to be the same guy, with the same equipment. He gives me a bullet to the knee and tells me not to shoot him again or he will kill me. acting like a total noob, is ask him why I cannot walk. he gives me a bandage and morphine, and I step in the back. he drives me back to the church, where he kills me again with the message "fuck you". that was the "introduction". now the strange part comes.. as I'm respawning at the airstrip, I take a sprint for the hangars. I enter the first from the east (far-most of the ATV-tower), and find nothing. Then I enter the second one, and I spot 3 ppl in a row.. same gear, same weapons, same look. At this point I still believed it where players, so with VoIP on, I make my way to them. they do not react in any way, so I start to hit them with a hatchet. but when I hit the guy, his chest swings backward, like he dodges my hits.. All 3 of 'm. so I checked their gear, which was all most the same.. But now the most awesome part, the 3 guys had the same name. so it was the same guy..? I've frapsed the last part, but I don't know how to upload.. another remarkable fact. Every important building in the server had wire fencing and tank traps in front of the doors.. Very strange..

so it's just a glitch? nothing to be worried about? then I have a question, is the SVD camo a bolt-action sniper rifle? because I remember him spraying a clip on my friend. let's say 5-10 bullets in about 2 sec..

ik ben geintereseerd, ik beschik over wat basic vaardigheden en kennis, heb alleen het probleem dat ik soms wat last heb van lag-spikes en frame-rate drops.. Dus als jullie dat geen probleem is zou ik graag meedoen :)

sooo.. We all know swimming loses stuff on certain servers, and on others it doesnt.. It's something with server options and shit. But now, me and a friend got some gear, and have to swim a bit, before we get it into our tents (yes.. an Island). But we dont want to risk to try if our server is properly-optioned.. Cuz we risk to lose the shit we got together. Does someone know a server where you can swim without getting mugged by seastars, or knows where you can find it in the server settings? No US servers for me, they lag to much and most of the hacking finds place there..

Ok please give me a decent solution cuz right now im kinda pissed off.. Me and a friend found a few tents.. We've put 'm down on some hill, where I stuck all my stuff in 'm, so I had no special or valuable gear when looting dangerous places. But when my friend logs in, all the fucking tents are gone. This is the second time, but the first time they magicly reappeared (I blamed that on the update, because when i came back after updating they where back). I don't know IF they re-appear, but if they dont, or even if they do, (how) can i prevent this in the future? thanks in advantage

Do I have to save them before every server restart? Because some days I skip visiting tents or even skip playing DayZ.. I saved them multiple times, so that can't be the problem.. Unless I really need to save them every day..

hehe, why this topic? because I'm goddamn curious! I mean, being a bandit sounds fucking badass you know, killing with silenced weaponry and ghilly suits 'nd stuff. But no.. I don't see posts like that.. the only thing I see is like 3 categories; - wanna team up? - who the fuck killed me?! - I can trust nobody :'( i spend one hour on the forum and was like wtf?! are this those scary bandits? 5 guys with full camo, shooting on freshly spawned players from above half a mile? just curious why, you know?

so probably I can divide in 3 classes now? 1, the shoot-on-site survivors 2, the newbie killers 3, the real bandits

there is no survivor killing only zombie's. Every player has killed another player. I'm a survivor to, still have 2 murders in this life, and 3 kills not listed as a murder (2 guys started firing at me, 1 I think he alt + f4, or just didn't count as a murder). the reason you make the kills defines what you are. killing out of self defense, or to secure the only can of food left in the store <- survivor. killing for fun, or to loot the body for supplies <- bandit I'm not against bandits at all, if I wouldn't have such bad fps drops, I would be a bandit too. it just makes me unable to have a steady and smooth aim, for longer then a minute. I might also not be able to be a real bandit, because I feel really bad when I kill unarmed, or nearly unarmed players.. but as you said, you like the thrill of hunting players, to get shot at. you say that is part of banditry. but why are there 'bandits' who shoot the unarmed? thrill of getting in his spotlight?

jammer, ik en een paar vrienden zoeken nog een home server om een kamp te bouwen etc, maar we spelen het liefst op regular, aangezien op veteran al die zombie's wel een zesde zintuig voor survivors lijken te hebben.. geen kans dat de server naar regular gaat neem ik aan?

I think you are all getting me wrong. I'm not saying killing other ppl is wrong, or noob, but the way it happens, 7 out of 10 times is.. I see few people post an awesome story of how they spotted a ghilly, chased him around and killed him with a makarov headshot from 75 meter. I only see people bragging about how they killed a guy with a goddamn flashlight from 560 meter with an SVD camo. Or how I hear stories about people who gave a blood transfusion to get shot right after. those kinda things aren't banditry, thats cowardly..

hi guys, got another question, I tried to find some sort of legends for the In-game dayz map. because sometimes I can see my own position (marked blue), sometimes I see other players marked on it (blue or orange), and sometimes my notes disappear.. maybe someone can help me with this? thankyou

in that case in very glad I killed him. He probably would have killed me, if he has murders already..

ah.. thankyou, I have another question for you, ppl always tend to have the tag survivor when in crosshairs, but I met some pll who have other names right there. You know what it mean? and you also might know why some ppl are marked blue, and others orange on the map?

haha something funny happened yesterday. me and a friend where in a server with only 12 ppl (us not counted) and we met goddamn 3 of 'm in half a second. First, when we wanted to loot elektro fire station, 2 guys where crouching trough the field, towards us. not taking any risk, we just bolted to the treeline. after 15 seconds, I see something move in the corner of my eye. when I turn my head, I see someone with a hatchet making his way to me. I lift my double barrel ready to unleash hell, when my friend comes from behind a bush and gets spotted by mr. hatchet. He starts screaming friendly on VOIP, and my friend throws in to just shoot him, because he wanted to kill us too. I type in detect channel we are chased by estimated 5 zombie's and 2 survivers, so we won't shoot you, we just run. he said he'll run with us the , i see him lift his axe, and swing, he missed my buddy, as to the z behind him. Not trusting it, I stay behind a little, ready to end his life if needed. after seeing that shit again, I ask him to leave, or we will just kill him. I think I was kinda friendly there?

well about the green mountain part.. seems like you might wanna check out that mass grave someone was talking about. Maybe it's not really a radio tower, but it might come from the top of the tower with that bodybag or so.. why don't you check that out, maybe you 'unlock' something when you get there with your radio, maybe new sending, new morse, new codes (big loot!)

well i found the map, looked and saw my own position. I was like ooh, nice, I don't have to find out myself. next time I log into (I believe?) the same server (I had favorited it, could be another favorite though, but I'm 90% sure it was the same, cuz my friend played with me on that server, and as far as I know, he didn't switch while I was away..), just to see my position disappeared?

hey guys, I hope someone can help me out with the following problem, my friends and I play dayz together, and we communicate via Skype. the problem is, when we come across another player, my VOIP doesnt work anymore (blocked by Skype?). I tried to look for a solution in skype settings, but I couldn't find anything. Someone knows where I can find it? we don't want to use the in-game VOIP all the time, because few hours ago we killed 2 ppl because we could hear them talk from like miles away..

nahh, wasn't me, I was chopped down in the second hangar (counted from the airfield control building, where I just found the AKM, didn't even have a chance to use it) would have been fun to meet the guy who killed me. its just that you really cannot trust anybody I mean yesterday I was looting a store when another guy came in, asking me not to kill him. then he said 'can you shoot this zombie without hitting me?' as he was chased by 1. I shot the zombie, en tried to communicate, but Skype disabled the VOIP. then I remembered this story again, so I just lifted my Winchester, and put 7 rounds in him (<-- cleverly waiting for him to start bandaging himself). Afterwards I didn't even got a murder for it, which should mean he was the one who shot first, ain't it?

first proof I allready found (very easilly), is that, in advantage, the clanleader, legendary fox if I'm right, is accused as a whining bitchy asswiper. the first post I read, it reminds me of my little sister of 4 year old who stole a cookie and tries to blame me for it. secondly is that after that bitchy whineass post, (presumably) half of the clan starts bitching too. you know, ppl who cry the loudest 'im not a hacker' usually turn out to be them. I don't see obvious.hacker doing that, he just puts proof down he isn't. I think I know who is right here thankyou for the warning pal :)

It's easy.. Spawnkillers are sad. If you are bored when you are geared up, go snipe around some of the northern airfields. I mean, you with SVD camo, NVG and ghilly suit, killing a freshly spawned player with only a fucking flashlight, or you with SVD camo, NVG and ghilly suit, killing another guy with SVD camo and ghilly suit. Whats more epic? If you are geared up and bored, dont go kill new ppl, makes no sense. If you want to kill because you are bored, go some higher in the map, where most of the pvp finds place. If you want to keep spawnkilling, dont care. But its just sad to kill a unarmed surviver from like 600m. You should at least have the guts to go face to face with an AK or something.. Give him the opportunity to run or something you know..
