backpacks replacing tents - what the hell does that topic name have to do with this? I was expecting something like; "lets forget the tents, why not just stash backpacks into the woods and make them stay after server restarts"... ...Actually that's not a bad idea now that I think of it... :huh:

Press vest stops at least one m4 bullet fully and one partially, tested by people and also seen working on dev's videos BEFORE this game was sold on steam. Last night was wearing UK assault vest and it didn't stop any bullets. I managed to stay alive and shirt was ruined, meaning I got shot in the chest but vest was pristine.

If this is true then the Devs are evil bastards by writing that thing into a changelog. Propably hundreds, (maybe thousands?) have looked for berries ever since last update. This is just a idea, but maybe you need a container where to but those berries? I mean I have noticed that burlap sack (or whatever) has the 0% marked sometimes just like bugged cans that are empty. Maybe you need to hold that sack in your hands to collect the berries??? :o

I have been running like this for a while now also sometimes using "demonic" voice change from my headphones fucking around with people

First of all I want to say that yes, I used the search first. Okay, I bet everyone here knows this bug. You are lying on the ground, you see another player and deside to shoot him. Bullet bugs and hits the ground in front of you. Other guy hears the shot and sees you. You are dead. What causes this and how can we work around this? Does the bipod cause this somehow? Does this has to do with elevation/steep ground? I don't think this bug has happened to me when I have been on flatland. Does the vegetation and grass cause this? Bullet doesn't actually leave from the barrel? Maybe because sometimes if you shoot near a tree, bullets hit that instead of going where they are suppose to. When you are aiming though scope your rifle is actually hitting ground - Thanks to the comments this appears to be the reason. As St. Jimmy said: "Your gun can go through the ground because there isn't much gun collision so the bullet hits the ground or object. The bullet leaves from the middle of the barrel so it can hit the ground even before the pipe ends. You aim too low or collide your middle of the gun too much." What is your experience with this bug? I like it. A LOT. Now I can finally have one character on normal servers which spawns with my buddies and other character on hardcore when I want to play alone. This is EPIC

Yeah I have week old character too, doesn't matter because it is the SAME character, only with more ammo and food :) Also I spawned in location I remember being a week ago ( was going to meet my bro ) Remember that Hardcore is in differend Hive and private hives are introduced ( I think )

Well my steam account is older than 9 years so yeah I do have differend steam account name. Also steam account name doesn't matter in this case anyway. Also at UK servers theres a lot of Jonathans

Stop whining and click that damn name in main menu and change that damn name of yours! They haven't stolen your identity or anything, same happens at me when I start Arma first time. It takes the name from your computer. YOUR FUCKIN WINDOWS USERNAME.

also prepaire yourself, characters getting wiped has been reported.

Just click the name in main menu and you can change it

We just got an update, woo! Also people have reported characters gotten wiped and mine has equipment I had week ago and I spawned at location which I WAS in week ago.
