Increase Object detail from settings, worked for me. also the thing that you dont see their legs has to do with how arma engine hides people in Grass and other vegetation. This is best seen in arma3 where when you look at enemy from far away they look like their under the ground.

I have been checking my cpu/gpu load and seems like that even though cpu/gpu load is just over 60% I still lag. Disabling things from options helps out, remember thou that lowering "object" at video settings makes buildings look like shit. Bad optimization, will be fixed later.

So conclusion: -0.22lr is weakest round ever, slighly better than airgun and is used to hunt PESTS and small animals. -People will and have died from 0.22lr -This is a game, and should not be expected to be irl-realistic because in gameplay view that would suck -And as a game I think it should take many,many shots to kill a player with 0.22 (Because of gear we are wearing)

How about no, small caliber weapons don't kill you even without help of modern hospitals. If I shoot you with 0.22 to LESS VITAL part as you said it won't kill you, yes it will bleed but not kill. 0.22 doesn't do massive shock damage to musles like large faster-than-sound rounds do. Yes there will be a hole in your skin, yes it may pierce some parts inside you, but it will not still do much damage to surrounding tissue, and it will stay inside you without surgery.

Jesus christ this forum and its gun-wankers. .22 is shitty caliber,yes you can kill with one shot IF it hits heart or head. BUT even headshot with with .22 doesn't necessary kill. We had a school shooter who, in the end, shot himself in the head with .22 and lived hours after that. PENETRATION is very very low. If you shoot to a window, it is possible that it doesn't penetrate even that. In-game press vest should eat .22 shots as breakfast.

Yeah Dayz with oculus will be awesome. I'm just worried about pixels, I mean how well will you be able to identify players from far away with it. Tested devkit oculus (the old one) and was shocked how well you could identify pixels. 3D was awesome though.

I heard that changing videosettings can change distance which loot is visible, you should check this. Also does this happen on every server? Do you have desync?

While I was shooting Gas pumps for SCIENCE, I saw bullets ricochet. 1 shot at gas pump, hit, hear ricochet sound and then another impact on ground behind it. In old arma 2 I could kill myself by shooting at ground near my feet, possibly ricochet? Don't know how works on SA, don't want to try :D But I think you just were shot at airport, happens to everybody
