Dragonslayer2 (DayZ)

My ping skyrockets as I enter a server lobby, this is really strange since in the server browser in Dayzcommander and ingame it says that the server has a low ping for me, but once i enter the server lobby, it skyrockets to 500ms 1000ms etc. This happens on every server. This just happend after reinstalled Dayzcommander and updated to the newest patches. Example: I open DayZcommander, i see a list of servers all under 60 ms, I connect to the server and as i enter the server lobby my ping suddenly increases to 500 and 700's ms. Yes, I am not downloading anything, but its really strange since commander says my ms should be fine. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is this a problem caused by BattlEye? Please help guys!!!! I need all the help i can get

Hello guys, i have huge problem. I have problems connecting to the majority of the Dayz servers. Of 100 servers, i can only connect to Id say 10% of total 100% of the servers out there. And yes I am connecting to servers that are running the same patch as me. This has been going on since the day i got this mod, 2 months ago. Its really frustrating, ive tried to get help earlier, but no one answered.. I am up-to -date on every patch for arma 2 and Dayz, but it is still happening. Can anyone please tell me what the fuck is wrong? I have tried to reinstall the games too and the mod. please help me..

Hello fellow players I would like to bring up a conversation around the tents in dayz and the bugs that come along with it. To day all my items disappeared from one of my tents, luckily it was the medic tent. Do you guys know any way to prevent this from happening? and yes i did save the tent before logging out. Will i get my items back on the next restart? Is it possible for anyone to confirm this? Anyway give me your opinion on the tents and if players on dayz will ever be able to use them properly. + hopefully someone can answer my questions above. Ty Happy DAyzzzz! Sincerly dragon slayah!

I have tried everything you have said. My ping still skyrockets just as i enter the lobby. I'm going from like 40 ping to 2000 ping 10 seconds after i join the server. Anyone has the same problem? Need all the help I can get guys!

Hi guys i fixed the problem. What i did was i deleted the @Dayz folder in Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. Then i uninstalled SixUpdater and Dayzcommander Then I reinstalled Dayzcommander and re-installed all the patches. Now I can connect to any server. But now my ping skyrockets as I enter the server lobby, this is really strange since in the server browser in Dayzcommander and ingame it says that the server has a low ping for me, but once i enter the server lobby, it skyrockets to 500ms 1000ms etc. I think this has something to do with BattleEye i will try to reinstall battle eye, but atleast i can connect to EVERY server that i havent been able to connect for 2 months..!

My ping also skyrockets when entering a server. For me it now happens to all servers i try to join..

Hello. I am experiencing a sudden increase in ping (ms) when I join some servers running the DAYZ mod. The strange thing is that in the server brower in both Dayzcommander and ingame in Arma it says that theseservers will have a ms of typically 40-60 for me. Then when i join the server and enter the server lobby ( the place where you see the name of everyone that are playing or waiting in the lobby) the ping/ms suddently skyrockets to a ms of 300-1000. This does not happen on every server, but on some. The strange thing is that sometimes my ms skyrockets and sometimes it does not. Now i have the same problem with my "homeserver", i have played on it earlier today, but now the ping is skyrocketing just as i enter the server lobby. Its impossible to play with a ms of 600.. I have tried to restart my computer. I have tried to restart steam and dayzcommander Disabled firewall temporary My connection is strong hence i can play on other servers from the same regions ( this only happens on some servers) I am running 1.7.2.5/ 95883 and the servers are also running that version. YEsyesyes i have no downloads. the thing is basically that my server browsers says the ping on the server is good, but as i enter the server lobby the Ping suddently skyrockets. Does anyone have the same problem or had similar experiences? Please help me out if you know something.

ShmoeSOLID and Hybrid86 Ingame names, Stark and Hybrid86 They keep flaming me for no apparent reason. I came alone and Shmoesolid was supposed to come alone, however he brought two of his sniper friends and hybrid86 was one of these. "dragonslayer2 had a hacker friend jump us on 2 different servers the first time we seen him next to us out of no where and left the next time a few min later on a different server we all got locked up no one could log out or move and 2 out of the 3 of us were killed one go his game shut down and dragonslayer2 was fine i was over 500m away in a ghillie and we had one other keeping an eye on the trade and both on over watch were killed" said by hybrid86 in the post above." Here the admit that shmoesolid was not alone. I did not hack I came alone and i logged when i spotted one of his mates in the tree line. Now they are flaming me because they didnt manage to kill me after missing with a shot apparently from a sniper weapon.. Do not trust these guys.

it is HIGHLY unlikely, since i was the only one on the server when i logged, 7 hours later there were only 5 people on the server.. the chances must be MINImal man. taking everything not leaving even junk behind? dont think soo..

Hi, I always save my tents after taking or putting in gear. I saved several times before i logged out. The tents were also full of items , 10 items from being full. Both tents were empty when i logged in 4 hours after server restart. When i logged out there were only two people on the server. It is highly unlikely that robbers stole over 70 items :P.
